iOS 10 Beta 4 Includes Dozens of New Emoji Promoting Gender Equality

It was either yellow or white faced emojis, the other options were added in for inclusivity. It should have been just yellow or all skin tones, but it was not.

All emojis are neutral. They can be used to represent either gender. Now they add female-specific emojis, while retaining the neutral emojis can represent both men and women. So in order words in order to battle "sexism" they add female-only emojis without having male-only emojis as well. Yeah gender equality my ass. We don't need any more gender equality in the modern world, there is no true discrimination in developed countries and everyone who tries to say they are is a ****ing liar. Calm the **** down humans. The only way to promote gender equality is to pretend like gender is irrelevant (which it is for most things). That is, don't make emojis specifically for women, don't call out on feminine minority in workforces, etc. Make it as NEUTRAL as possible. Actually, whoops just re-read the article and they did add men-specific emoji. Yeah, stupid regardless. Make it as NEUTRAL as possible.

The ones you mentioned and others aren't gender neutral, so rather than adding to the problem of making us pick either a male or female emoji, why not just make them all gender neutral?

No, I think Apple's decision to remove the gun is appropriate, since guns are killing machines and kids use iPhones. You're equating having men and women represented equally with having a killing machine represented equally. Which is just odd.

Emoji should never have progressed beyond the yellow man, or the ones that MacRumors offers. That's all you need.
Hopefully they make it so you click and hold the emoji to change the gender otherwise it's gonna be cluttered. I personally don't care because I don't use emojis, but if it makes someone happy have at it.
Of course there is no burning flag emoji. You're equating adding women emoji to burning the American flag? What exactly do you think America is? Sounds scary.
If you really want to burn America to the ground, then elect Donald Trump, a presidential candidate who attacks the Gold Star parents of a fallen soldier, and who doesn't even know what Russia is doing (he thought Putin wasn't in Ukraine yet.......)

I don't see what the big deal is. Did people get this bent out of shape when iOS implemented different skin tones on some emoji? Should we all be bright yellow?
TBH I don't know why we even need those 'relationship' Emojis. When would it ever be appropriate to use one of those? Sticking the round faces and inanimate objects seems to be far better than worrying about covering every gender and nationality.
