The current lock sound can be too easily mistaken as a camera than once, I've been accused of taking a picture in an elevator or in an otherwise quiet room where the lock sound can be heard.

I'm looking forward to the change.

That's interesting. I never would thought of that. How awkward if your in an elevator with a female and she thinks snapped a picture of her, when it was the lock button. Good point.

Up, Up, Down, Down, Shake iphone Left, Right, Left, Right. Yes! Music successfully paused

Lift phone>up>pause or
Lift phone>up>right>pause

In the 2nd case (if control center was last open in another tab), there are as many actions required as iOS9 (missing is push/rest on home button).

In the 1st case, the gesture is quicker than iOS9.

It's a beta. It was in the dev notes that it would happen, it'll be resolved before GM. If it really bugs you, roll back to 9.3.4.
You don't even know what you're talking about. It was not in developer notes that this sensor would suddenly be activated and if there was ever any moisture, the sensor will be activated forever.
I've been using developer betas for a while and I also only said "I wish Apple gave the option..."
so saying "go back to 9.3.4 is not a legitimate answer.

It seems that it's not about an option to disable some warning, but about making sure that the warning works as it should--it seems that in this case there are some issues with it that are known and that will be resolved.

Again, all I said was "I wish Apple would give the option..." possibly for the future updates.
It is an extreme inconvenience to dismiss all those popups just to plug in my phone.

Changed the output symbol?!!!! It looks just like the AirDrop symbol! How will we ever tell them apart?!

Hadoken!!

I wish they weren't messing with Control Center so much. It's like when Exposé was perfect in about OS X Leopard, then they started messing about with it and ruined its brilliance, even if you could technically do more things. I'd love to have options for customising it more, but once you start having to scroll and swipe, you might as well be back in settings, so it defeats the object.

For what possible reason might they want to avoid people's attention being drawn to the subject of headphones?!:rolleyes:;)

I am seeing bluetooth headphone....looks like a broadcast to me. I bet lightning connector for headphones is temporary. This allows bluetooth headphones in future without changing that icon again

Why can't we have 1 unified notification centre? Instead of this 2 panel thing. Too much swiping back and fourth.

Also control centre is becoming a mess, it needs cleaning up.

Anyways, we should be able to customise all this stuff, at least let us change system themes. Dark etc.

I understand what you said, but what I'm saying is that the issue isn't really with dismissing the warnings, it's about the warnings appearing correctly when they are supposed to.

What would be a unified notification center?

I dont want to swipe between "today" and "notifications".

If there is going to be a dropdown notification centre it should be 1 panel, not swiping between 2.

But then you have all kinds of things mixed in together, which would be rather messy as far as actual notifications from apps vs. simply ever-present widgets with different information that they display. Not only would potentially more important information (like notifications) be mixed in with more static information (like widgets) but it would require more scrolling up and down to find things and perhaps even missing some things that would get pushed further down.

Well , from my android days i remember there only being one dropdown. I always liked how android dealt with notifications, i found it superior to IOS in that regard

I actually really liked iOS 5/6's Notification Center with the widgets in the same dropdown.

It was easier to see weather at the same time as seeing unread texts or emails, plus it gave us the ability to tweet or post to Facebook right from there! Still amazed that Twitter hasn't given us that option with the newer widgets, especially since it's still on OS X/macOS...

Has anyone tried the Beta iOS 10 on 12.9 inch iPad Pro? How does it impact the performance?

If there is performance degradation, I dont think I would want to upgrade, as I honestly dont see that I need more new features.

By performance, I mean Battery Life and multitasking/app performance.

We are only talking bout a few small "widgets" in those days which are fairly different from what widgets are like these days. You can always get a widget to post to Facebook and/or Twitter these days as well.
