Has anyone talked about the Health app. It's a lot different.

Does anyone really still gets excited by a new version of a mobile phone OS? Or a new mobile phone model, for that matter?
Yep, I'm gone past that age. Not wasting my money if I don't get excited about it. I'd rather pay less on my monthly tariff.

I have that feeling that someday iWork apps will get the same split screen feature as Safari, and it will be awesome.

Is anybody at Apple even working on iWorks anymore? I used to love that suite, but it went backwards after the 2009 version in some respects.

I now have Office 365 from Microsoft. I used to hate MS stuff with quite the passion. I have the annual subscription. It is running on my iPhone 6S+, my iPad gen 4, my iPad Pro 12.7, my top of the line MBPr 15 inch, and my HP i7 quad core running Windows 10. I get updates regularly, and the syncing of docs between all my Office devices Apple, or other, is pretty much perfect. MS has done a great job there in the last year. Which just highlights for me the possibility that Apple has given up on iWorks but isn't telling anybody... Which is a shame - it's a nice, easy to use, light weight office suite in many respects, and I do like many of its features, but since 2009 Apple has been taking away useful features & capabilities, forcing me to use MS Office more... and now I am happy to be with Office... Not sure I would go back to iWorks unless they did a massive overhaul of it...

I have an iPad Pro 12.7 with LTE connectivity, and love using the Apple Pencil with the built in Notes app. The writing experience is fantastic compared to all other stylus and pens etc. The Notes app syncs nicely with iCloud so I can access it from anywhere, anytime. The drawing app is so simple and intuitive - its UI barely gets in the way of the drawing/writing experience, which is unusual...

My one gripe with the drawing facility in Notes is that I can't do much of any editing... other than erase and undo. The ability to select a section of the image and copy/paste it to/from other apps or to move the selected image segment around the screen would be icing on the cake.

So I hope something gets done in this regard before the full release in the Fall.

Perhaps Apple could let you select a compatible 3rd party app as the default drawing app inside Notes?

Your videos are great, keep them coming. Very appreciated. :-D
Wow.
First three in.
First three off point.

Looks like it caught another mouse.

MR, thanks for vids. They're handy links to send people who didn't watch the keynote.

The first three posters are pretty new - two are still called newbies - and much of the whining and trolling is from newer members. I do wonder if they are being paid to post, so much negativity on the forums in the last couple of years.

Personally I didn't have the time to sit and watch the keynote, so I missed a lot of the stuff, I'm glad it's being highlighted.

It depends, I use on my iPad more than I do on my Mac which is why being easy to use is so important & I didn't use iWork before 2009 as I didn't have a Mac or any Apple iThing. However, it is limiting because iOS itself, it doesn't allow me to work on two documents on the same time which is my major (and maybe only) complain, if they fix that like Safari I won't be any happier. Speaking about Office, I hate Microsoft, Office, the subscription model and still hate Ballmer :D.

But other than those issues, it's all perfect!! ;)

The average consumer doesn't clear up their schedule to watch WWDC on a work day at 1pm and none of these features are on Apple's website.
I watched the keynote at work and personally do not remember all of these features...and if they did,it's not the same as watching a few minutes and then going and looking on your phone, now that we have it and can follow along.

"Pro" is strictly a marketing term.

While the iPad "Pro" does make it sound like it's a device that can be used for everything a professional business owner, architect, etc, does, the truth is Apple is more focused on kids and grandparents now.

A technology company shouldn't cater to the end-user, as that takes away the potential for exciting innovation, as the end-user is always resistant to change. I cannot wait to see other companies come out with phones that are actually waterproof. I cannot wait to see shatterproof screens on phones. I cannot wait to see how far VR technology goes. Meanwhile Apple likes to come out with a pink colored iPhone which has none of those features and showing them off at a snooze-fest keynote event.

Between the pink iPhones, the queer messaging enhancements that will be coming in iOS 10, the lack of innovation, and other stuff, Apple is really starting to become a company I am annoyed with. Went right from a company I used to love to an absolute joke.

If you think universal copy/paste and using Apple Watch to instantly unlock your Mac and pay for stuff on your computer isn't innovation, but decades old tech like waterproofing gadgets, shatterproof screens and VR is, I honestly think you're better off buying Samsung gear. I hear they're working on that kind of groundbreaking innovation.

Hidden features will remain that for me. I have a life and business to run, and Apple's interface decisions leave much to be desired these days, least of all presenting functionality that is hidden.

It isn't. Do you know why? All it would've taken is a fingerprint reader on the Mac itself. Now if I want to use the feature I have to buy an Apple Watch.

So you expect everyone to go out and buy a new Mac when that feature is added? It's tremendous innovation for the millions of existing Mac users with Apple Watches or who are looking to buy an Apple Watch.

It could also act as another layer of security, when fingerprint readers aren't enough.

Of course not, but that's part of the free market.

If you want the cool new feature, shell out money for a new Mac, that's how America works.

Most aren't really hidden and will get used by people anyway.

Probably a dumb question, but has anyone managed to get Universal Clipboard working yet? And I take it Apple Watch mac unlock is not live yet?
