Apple loves early adopters, yet people here think installing a new update which breaks your phone is your problem and not Apple's.

Agreed!

I was getting really pissed off at some of the members on here yesterday who were acting like it wasn't a big deal that the update sent a lot of peoeple's devices in recovery mode.

Like we should just suck it up. These Apple fanatics never want to make Apple accountable for the crap that they do.

I installed 10 yesterday afternoon, played around with it for about an hour and then went back to 9.3.5 on my 5s. Most of the new enhancement do nothing for me. But the main thing is the redesign of the Health app, the dashboard is no longer there. I can't directly see the graphs all on one page anymore to compare graphs such as blood pressure and pulse over time. Having to view data one by one just doesn't do it for me.

I upgraded my wife's 6s, my 6, my iPad Pro 9.7, my Apple Watch and my TvOS. Also, iTunes 12.5.1 on an Air and a MacBook. All of it over the air and there were no issues other than download speeds which were kind of all over the place due to high demand. All is smooth and I think iOS 10 is actually quicker and snappier on my my 6 even though I had to turn off Reduce Motion to get the iMessage cuteness to work. Overall, a very good experience and I like the changes.

Depends, if someone updates their iPhone while they need it badly it's partly their own stupidity, people should always update when at home when they can acces a computer/update when you don't need your iPhone badly.

I'm loving iOS 10, not much for the iMessages but it feels really smooth and refined over both Air 2 and the iPhone. Along with watchOS 3 which was just the cheery on top! :)
I am loving iOS 10 as well. I love what they did with messages, lift to wake, the music app, and just the general "smoothness" as you put it. I thought the 3D touch was interesting when it was introduced but I really didn't use it much until just yesterday when I upgraded to iOS 10.

Okay, then what happened to the devices that were """"bricked"""" by iOS 10? Why are there no more reports of them after the announcement that Apple claimed it was fixed? Why is a Youtuber with 24 devices had no problem whatsoever?

Don't care what some YouTuber has. I know I had both my 6s and iPad Pro temporarily bricked. I never had issues with OTA updates prior to this. Thank goodness I was home at the time and able to restore it via iTunes but a lot of people weren't so lucky. Some people updated while they were at work and some didn't even have a laptop or desktop to restore it on.

Folks with devices older than iPhone 6s and iPad Pro seemed to haven't had this problem. But almost everyone I know that tried updated before Apple fixed the problem had their device sent into recovery mode.

Stop trying to downplay this issue.

I wish you could disable TouchID and the lock screen passcode altogether without having to disable Apple Pay. I just think its such a better experience using the phone without a passcode solely just to be able to swipe right into apps from the lockscreen without having to use TouchID. I do not need a passcode during my normal day-to-day routine of home and work; my phone is always with me. But then I could turn on passcode when going out, weekends, etc. - anywhere there is a higher risk of me losing my phone.

I like this update a lot and never used swipe to unlock before always relied on touch id. i found a way just to tap to unlock when the sceen is on. My 6s did not slow down so this is a good update!!

I'm genuinely impressed that as of yesterday morning, more than 90% of iOS devices were running iOS 9 or the 10 beta. That's a testament to Apple's ease of software updating. Plus, it speaks volumes about the build qualities of iOS 7-10, which have all been compatible with iPhone 5 all the way to iPhone 7, as well as having maintained hardware performance for each of these phones. Not to mention iPad.

Amazing.

I'm honestly loving iOS 10. I went into it with no expectations and so far, it's been a ton of fun. I was one of the people that were thinking "Wow, really? This is just an iMessage update." But here I am, playing Battleship with my friend in iMessage. I'm loving it!

And I really like the new notifications.

I tried updating this morning and after installing it required my phone to connect to iTunes and told me that it either needed to restore to factory settings or update back to 9.3.5. So I currently haven't been able to update -__-
Did you update to the latest version of iTunes?
