It's a shame that this is gonna take till at least late March, which is when iOS x.3 versions typically come out...
They mentioned in the newsroom that the option for the battery is coming in a later betaCan't wait more to turn off this throttling mess!!!

Because consumers might be too well informed and demand replacements which is against Apples profitsI just hope it shows the Cycle Count like System Info on the Mac does. Why i have to use a 3rd party app and plug my phone in to see that info i have never understood.

HA!! Not likely...Welcome news to get more info. This will also quieten the panicked hysteria surrounding the power management. Maybe...

You don't need that. Here, have some Animoji instead! What about messages in iCloud?
About time. It’s a shame it took hundreds of lawsuits to push Apple to do the right thing.
Funny how Apple can push out a .1.1 update anytime a jailbreak exploit is found but will take months for this update.....
Would you prefer them to delay security updates?Funny how Apple can push out a .1.1 update anytime a jailbreak exploit is found but will take months for this update.....
my question is: if you'd turn off that throttling mess, will your iPhone shut down unexpectedly?
And everyone sues for their phone shutting down and asks why Apple allowed this to happen.
There's been plenty of public outcry about this feature. Attributing the change in policy to the few dozen class action lawsuits is giving the ambulance chasers far too much credit.
Yes, give the people what they want.
People want a phone that actually works as advertised and and a phone that can do what the paid for. How many people would have bought a phone if they where told it would be crippled in a few months. Anyone defending Apple on this issue should be ashamed of their blind loyalty.
