iOS 11 and VW radio

Hi,



After upgrading my iPhone 7 to iOS11, my Composition Media radio in my VW Polo, has startet to reboot randomly.

When I disconnect bluetooth on either the radio or phone, there's no problem.



Anyone else experiencing this?

Anybody else having trouble with iOS 11 and Honda and Acura Bluetooth systems?



I'm growing a little concerned after running through a few cars and finding several problems.

• Low playback volume with stored audio
  Low volume on Bluetooth calls making the call impossible
  Contact names will not populate over numbers
  Voice commands from Bluetooth HandsFreeLink no longer work

10.3.3 works fine but iOS 11 does not.



Multiple tests, multiple cars in a range from 2014 - 2018.

Try to delete the phone on the car system and the car system on the phone and reconnect both to each other.
Could be the issue is resolved by doing so (strangely enough).
Other suggestion: reset network settings - downside to this is also info on you wifi networks (passwords etc) is lost, so maybe not advised as first measure.

No complaints on my VW (Comp Media Gen 1 = 2014)

It didn`t help. But when I disable that it can sync contacts, crashing stops.
