Have you tried of opening the app, changing the tabs from Recents to something else and then seeing if the notifications are gone? Happens to me all the time.
Not only have I tried that, I also cleared all my recent calls (missed it otherwise) and my VM and permanently deleted my VMs

Since we are talking about emojis here, I'd like a more colorful mosquito please. I'm not asking for a Sabethes cyaneus. That's probably too much, but since it looks like an Aedes let's go for Aedes Aegypti.

Turn all accounts off. wait a few minutes for the cleanup to complete, turn all back on again. Fixed all of the mail issues I was having. Issues were, mail not loading, app super slow, no notifications, blank emails, hanging when making new email. (I have 6 mail accounts including iCloud and exchange).

tired this. now my combined inbox only shows emails from one of the 5 inboxes(while individual inboxes display all of the emails still)...

Oh, at first I thought "corrects animal anatomy" with the Gorilla...ummm.
ok, never mind.

Most of the emoji's are a waste of space on my device and I won't even get into what I think about animoji's but yeah, how about fixing bugs first.

I personally use maybe 3, 4 at the VERY most. I don't even know how many total emoji's we have now, I just know it's way too many!

Adding emojis and unable to correct the bugs in this OS is baffling!

You know the best part about the original yellow "smileys" that later became emoji?

You didn't have to worry about being inclusive or offensive... because they were just abstract universal facial expressions.
Nobody cares. This isn’t a thing. Just use yellow if you’re worried about it or use your skin color if it seems snazzy to do so.
