Exactly. This vapid nonsense keeps squeezing itself back into the keyboard side every single time.

Seems like a lot of complex picture detail in emoji design. Wish they went back to the original emoji design (from NTT DOCOMO) where emojis were more symbols instead of pictures.

Simple is better than complicated.

If we would’ve just kept everyone yellow and genderless we wouldn’t need all these ridiculous combinations. At the rate we’re going, we’ll soon need a couple depicting a Latin-American cougar female and her younger Anglo lover.

Also, if they’re going to keep adding emojis every 17 seconds, at least give us the option to the hide/delete/organize in a way we see fit for our personal use.

I know people love to get grumpy about emojis, but most of these are nicely done I have to say. The shading work in the onion and the garlic is very good. So kudos to whomever is making these. I'm sorry for you that most people are grumpy about it.

so the "frequently used" section that comes up is not enough? It stores the 30 emojis you used lately right there the second you open your keyboard. I'm not sure how much easier it could get.

I rarely use Emoji's and when I do I just use the standard faces. It has gotten to the point where there are so many now that even in the off chance I want to find a fitting one I usually just give up. I really wish I could just disable all but the standard faces that have been around forever and be done with it. Stickers too. I don't mind if it shows me when others send them, but I just don't want them cluttering up my messages keyboard anymore.

I haven't looked but there will most likely be a custom keyboard available to do exactly what you're asking. You've been able to install third party keyboards or a few years now. There's bound to be one that has its own fav emoji picker.

The vitriol against new emojis in iOS updates always amazes me - Apple aren’t just making these things up for fun, emoji are part of Unicode so Apple are just adding their own images for newly added Unicode symbols in order to maintain compliance with an externally defined standard character set. yes, yes and yes. While my mails need to be pulled on my own, my HomeKit can‘t be controlled outside of my local WiF, I‘m happy to hear that there‘s someone who integrates more emojis so I could tell everyone how excited I‘m about this.

My mail pulls no it's own and my Homekit works outside of local wifi - what's wrong with yours?

Is there an idea of when iO 13.2 will release? I'm guessing that it's what's holding back the HomePod update.

I'm installing this public beta just for the new haptic sounds. I really really hate the glass clink! they turned it into in iOS 13.
