One thing I'd love in iOS 13 is for incoming phone calls to go to a drop-down notification if you're using the device. There's absolutely no reason for it to completely take over your screen anymore.

We only have Apple to blame for the overhyping; they're the ones who have taken this long to implement it.
What a bunch of c**p. When one of the features in a full number update is the stupid, obtrusive volume icon, you wonder what is apple really doing?

A useless feature that sucks up battery with a risk of burn-in? Sign me up!
Apple could implement all popular requests on this site and give all of their hardware away for free and there would still be a bunch of complaints on here.
wrong. I'll use it and I know a fair amount of others who have asked for this. Hopefully it improves reading for folks with polarized lenses.
These are things that people have been asking for on a virtually non-stop basis for a long time. Every time there's a beta of a damn point release the first comment is "dark mode?"
How about native USB-C support for external drives to access files like excel, word, ppt, pdf, etc. Importing photos is good, but iPad and iPad Pro users should be able to read/write to simple external flash drive/hard drives without using wifi equipment. Hopefully they will have a better file system app over Dark Mode and Volume HUD. If iOS is the post PC future for computers, we need these features now. Mac’s and PC’s can do it and have been able to for decades, why not iOS.
Just give us proper external storage support already!
Excuse me, dark mode is a problem for vision. When white text is on a black background something called "halation" causes a fuzzy effect which make the eyes work hard to focus. People who have worked in the printing industry with negative plates suffer astigmatism from this. Negative or wrong reading images can hurt eye balls.

My wife will be happy to put this in her iPad.
I already had it on my Note8 a year ago as an installed theme, and I loved it.
But now that I have Android 9, it's native, and even better implemented.
Good to know Apple is doing this too.

Really? I have yet to see anyone using it on Android phones.
Probably is something that forum board geeks would care but ordinary people wouldn't give a toss and wouldn't even notice it.
I really hope that they take finally make some substantial changes for iPads as current state is bad. iPad needs a lot of love when it comes to iOS. I also hope that volume gimmicks is not the main focus because we don't need any more 'emoji' styles updates. Those should just be small bonuses but the main focus really has to be on usability and improvements. iPad Pro needs some serious workflow love - those multitasking sound like a good start

didn't they promise to update the volume indicator last time? i remember feeling very excited about it, but that never happened... unless, of course, they only promised to update the video volume indicator.
Please give us split screen apps on iPhone, at least the plus! As well as PIP. I can't believe this isn't already on the iOS for the iPhones...
Obviously you do not understand AOD. It does not burn into the screen (Pretty much all AOD move every couple of minutes to prevent this), and it uses close to noting in battery life on a OLED screen.
Improved ScreenTime controls, please! This is vital for parents and the current controls are a bit of a mess!
