I am not sure if SmartVPN pro is a full VPN (ignoring the name of the app). It has secure DNS and it encrypts HTTP traffic but thats about as far as it goes.
Also, I would have thought having just a VPN wont block trackers which is what the smartVPN Pro offers i guess.

AFAIK the basic option doesn't include Secure DNS and HTTP. So the premium adds them on the top.

In addition to their predefined black lists you add your own urls/api calls for blocking. I have been doing this to the point that some apps have stopped working :D. So, I have everything maxed out for blocking accd. to their presets and on top i add my own.
I am still on 7 day free trial, and i think i will pay for 25e / year subscription which i think is reasonable for me.

I don't think I will get this service, there is limited information on what it actually does, says it blocks 5000 trackers, that's just a start, nothing to write home about.
It's € 36 here per annum which isn't that bad if :
1: I didn't already use a VPN (NordVPN).
2: They provide much more information on what they actually do.

Not saying they are shady (at all), just think the website is a bare minimum, not up to the task of providing enough
information.

I would also like to delete apps from the search option, when you have a lot of apps the only way to find them is thru search

Wait, how do you keep the data when you remove the app?
Well my iOS is in French so I am not sure about the exact translation, but it goes something like this:
  1. Go to: Settings/General/iPhone Storage
  2. Click on the app you want to delete (they are listed in order of app size)
  3. Press on "Uninstall app" (blue), not the "Delete App" (red). There should be an explanation box under each option.
The apps will still appear on your home screens, but with a "download from iCloud" icon. Enjoy!

In English that's "offload". It's the same process that happens automatically (if you've enabled the option) when the phone starts to run out of memory. As I have a 16GB phone, pretty much all my apps offloaded themselves when I installed this iOS13 beta.

This is a great feature that I've wanted, but not for the reason that might be most apparent. I have a bunch of apps whose icon don't appear on the home screens. This is probably left over from when my home screens were full. The only way to access them is with Spotlight, which provides no way to delete the app. The other way to access it is when Updates come out for the app, which is often the only reminder I have that the app is even installed at all. So this is the perfect place to add a delete feature.

Of course, something that shows me all the apps on my phone, or at least the ones with no home screen icon, would help, too...

Moving the updates to the profile is a horrible move. Arcade should either be under the games tab, or in a separate app.

I Agree. They can't leave well enough alone. They put arcade there so you will buy something. Updates are free so no money to be made therefore move it.

Or you could just Haptic Touch the App Store icon from the home screen like the rest of us.

In iOS 13 and iPadOS, Apple has added a new way to delete apps from your device right from the App Store.

When you're updating apps on your phone, or viewing apps that were recently updated, you can swipe left on any app in the list to bring up a "Delete" option.

Tapping on delete brings up the standard app deletion interface, where you can confirm the app's deletion or select the cancel option.

The option to delete apps right from the App Store is a convenient way to get rid of unwanted apps as soon as you see them, without the need to leave the App Store, hunt down the app's icon, and remove it that way as was necessary in prior versions of iOS.

Apple has moved the app update interface in iOS 12 to make room for Apple Arcade. The new Apple Arcade tab replaces the prior Update tab to provide easy access to the upcoming gaming service.

You can now access app updates by tapping on your profile picture at the top of the App Store and scrolling down to the Pending Updates section, which also houses a list of recent updates.

Ouch, I missed that part!
No...do not like! I do have it set for my phone to automatically update the Apps, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It has always been SIMPLE to hit "Update", swipe/reload the page and "Update All" Now its multi-step procedure.

How about a "Force Touch / 3D touch" (whatever it will be called) to have a "Update All Apps" as an option when this pops up. This would be a great time saver. Maybe in a future 13.01, 13.1 update.

We have been asking for an uninstaller for years that also removed the prefs and support files in the user/library folders.
