Am I right in thinking that when iOS13 is released, I'll be able to stream my Xbox to iPad using OneCast then use the Xbox One controller connected to the iPad directly?

I understand that currently I'm limited to the range of my controller connected to the Xbox?

My iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 13.0 will connect to the PS4 Dualshock Wireless for about half a second, then rapidy disconnects. Have tried all kinds of resets, re-installs, reboots, device forgetting, etc... nothing works. Anyone see this problem?

Correct.

From everything I've heard, iOS 13 is pretty beta yet. I'd report it, if you know how, and *hope* it gets better in 13.0.1 or whatever it is. It would be interesting to know if more people are experiencing this, but I won't be trying out iOS 13 for at least a couple weeks.

When you connect the controller iOS, do you get full compatibility, or do you need to leave it connected to your PS4 unit while it's steraming to your iOS device (or it doesn't matter)?

Doesn't matter. You just pair it to the iOS device as a bluetooth accessory. You can play native iOS apps or use the PS4 Remote Play app to play games streaming from your PS4.

What MisterSavage said (I think, haven't actually tried it yet, as I'd not yet update to iOS 13!). I just wanted to add that what you describe is the old way. You could send the screen to your Mac, but had to be within BT range of the PS4 for the control aspect to work. Now, everything necessary (afaik) goes through the Mac/iOS device and across the network to the PS4.
