not much in the release notes. I noticed that the comments about resizing widgets from 14.0 release notes never carried over to 14.2's beta release notes. Maybe they gave up on that.

Thanks. Yes, ever since they removed it several years ago with the "simplification" of the music app. Apparently, not enough feedback was received to reimplement it. I've resorted to using 3rd party music players when I need the information.
Still same issue for old sims with this beta...

Fix for iOS 14 battery drain overheat issue
FYI - those with battery drain and overheat issue on iOS 14, it is due to your sim card's version. Found out from various Vietnamese news and forums and was able to confirm in my case, the drain/heat issue went away as soon as I removed my sim card. Apparently the one on the left is an old sim...

I haven’t tried on the latest beta but i know on all previous iOS 14’s it didn’t work and frustrated the hell out of me.
If a message comes in via announce messages with Siri and i later want to hear that message again it says i need to unlock my phone and its so frustrating
Sometimes i can ask to read the same message a few seconds after it comes in and Siri had previously read it to me
i find myself yelling at Siri saying you just freaking read the message so what’s the problem🤣
Confirmed. You have to remove the face if you have a self created one active. Stock like cat 🐱 works. Just checked
There are some sort of conclusive battery results that are specifically linked to something less than a couple of hours after the release?Still same issue for old sims with this beta...

Sorry, just to clarify. Bricked as in crashing and restarting but there is a way to break the loop or bricked as in rendering the watch useless for ever?
bricked as in hanging on the Apple logo - remove face using watch app and force reboot solves the hangup
It doesn't brick the watch. It just doesn't show the Memoji if you use the one you created of yourself, just the blue background.
I don’t use the announce with Siri option but if I hear a message come in I can ask Siri to read it on my locked SE2020 and she reads it every time and this has always worked. Then asks if I’d like to reply. About the only time I use it is when driving with phone sitting in cup holder. I dont use ear gear.
Bricked means that the device is not functional and unrecoverable aka basically a useless brick.
