Same - but the faces were triggered by the iPhone update itself

Yeah but I don't think the phone model matters so I wrote the watch model.
Have you tried deleting the watch app and re installing it? I've never tried that so not sure what would happen.

That's strange. My watch is S6 on 7.0.1 and the new faces show in the face gallery for me.

they show there for me too. i mean the ones i’ve made that are in the My Watch section. a lot of times i go there to change my Face instead of on the Watch

pretty sure you’d have to reset and restore

Oh, now I understand what your talking about. I only have 2 watch faces and they do change on the watch when I assign them to the watch in the app.

weird. well deleting them and readding from Watch worked. when i tried creating it on the Watch app, it froze up the device

I think I read in this thread that there's an issue with Memoji faces. Could be issues with other custom type faces but I don't use those.

I see the Exposure notification availability bug is still listed on the first page but this seems to be fixed for me in beta 2 - are others seeing the bug still as I don't see any messages here?

Still greyed out for me, telling me that Location Services aren't enabled. They are. As it doesn't say for which service, I can't check more than that.

Couple of items since installing beta 2

IPP11 2020
Keyboard lag in Messages. Comes and goes but it is a pain when it comes.
When using the Magic Keyboard the Onscreen keyboard will popup
PIP will occasionally freeze
When waking, True Tone will not show at times. After a couple of minutes it works
WiFi will say connected but no data. A quick Off/On usually fixes
Airpod Pro will say connected but sound will play through speakers. Reconnect works till next time

11PM
At launch some apps will randomly freeze. Killing the app and relaunch usually works
When on speaker phone volume may fade in/out
Some apps have changed folders in App Library
Notifications for Games, News, and TV reset itself to everything. Just these 3.
When playing video the right side of the device gets hot after a few minutes

Both
Badge count issue with Mail still exists
Messages will not play custom ringtones on inbound mesages unless app is open. Default ringtone works fine.

Apple Watch (Nike 4GPS)
Watch face changes randomly at times. Never quite sure what I may find.
Notification for new Message or Mail will go off on watch (haptic) before it goes off on 11PM

In the process of reporting these ...

But ... it does seem to run smoother than beta 1.

Strange, it seems to fluctuate in each beta for me as it was greyed out in the final 14.0 beta and in 14.2 b1 but fixed in 14.0 GM and 14.2b2.

Fingers crossed they fix it permanently.

The bug with the News app not loading past Top Stories on the Today tab is back. When I killed the app to restart, app opening completely froze. I was still getting the brief flash when tapping apps but nothing happened. After about 15 seconds all apps I had tapped opened in order. As each app opened it slid in from the right to replace its predecessor.

Reported.

I’m also having the iPadOS Messages bug where the on screen keyboard pops up, and sometimes “keeps dropping” (not sure how to describe that one? I use the one handed keyboard). Force quitting Messages “fixes” that one. I’m noticing just some core apps like Safari & Messages freeze up completely at launch and again, force quitting “fixes” that issue. Is that the memory bug returning? Also the custom alerts in Messages not playing accurately unless I’m in the messages app, otherwise it plays the default text alert. I’m no longer having any issues with the Mail app, but I had to remove each account and remove the Mail app and set it all up again from scratch. I was having MAJOR issues with Mail, too. And for me, the Apple Watch face bug seems to be changing to the watch face to the right of the one in place? That’s not nearly as frequent as the other bugs, though.

As some of these issues are happening to me, too, I’ll add that during the entire iOS14/iPadOS14 beta process, all of the issues I’m currently having were a non-issue at multiple various times. While annoying, I’m still confident they’ll be fixed.

The onscreen keyboard while using the Magic Keyboard was an issue for me on the 14.0 GM build and disappeared after updating to the official release.

Maybe 14.2 was forked off the 14.0 GM before additional fixes were sneaked into the 14.0 official release + 14.0.1.

Does this help resolve any battery issues we've been seeing on iOS 14 or iOS 14.0.1?

Anecdotal, but for me, the previous two builds would drain my battery very quickly. I couldn't make it through a day without charging (and I am not a heavy user). With B2, my battery after my morning "routine" (reading, journaling) was at 97%. Previously (like yesterday and many days before that) the same workload would have driven the battery down to 85% or so. In my book, *so far*, it seems to be better.

This is disappointing.

For Messages and Custom ringtones, I tried deleting the ringtone from the Contact, Save it, and replacing the ringtone with the same custom ringtone.
It worked!! Now I am in the process of doing this for my “critical” Contacts.

For the hanging apps, I hope it isn’t the mem bug coming back :(

For the watch face, it is like I had swept right to the next face. I can swipe left to get back to the original. Not real frequent but very annoying.

For my Mail app, I have my iCloud, Gmail, and Exchange accounts. I have the same Gmail also in the Gmail app. most of the badge count errors involve my iCloud account.
