iOS 14.5 Features: Everything New in iOS 14.5

I have T-Mobile but I am not getting the option for the Stand-Alone network. I just updated. Everything else seems fine. I just calibrated my Apple TV which was nice.

I think that might be a mistake. One of the earlier betas showed 5G SA support with T-Mobile, but I think it was removed with beta 7 or 8.

Is there a way to notify apple that their Maps app is displaying incorrect exit numbers? They've all changed in Massachusetts over the past couple months, and it's very confusing when trying to navigate to new areas.
 
I wonder if this update will finally fix that issue where the Apple Watch stops ringing on phone calls after you use CarPlay on your phone lol. I have to reboot my iPhone XR every friggin time because of this. Stupidest bug ever.

Apple Maps Accident Crowdsourcing - does this work anywhere outside the US? I am not seeing in Canada. Strange they would not mention that detail.​

Is that what causes that?! I've been trying to figure out for months why sometimes my Apple Watch would stop ringing. Reboot always "fixes" it temporarily, but it never occurred to me that it was engaging CarPlay that triggers the issue.

You can finally control individual lights after you've grouped them together when creating/editing a scene (has been bugged since 14.2 or earlier).
 
Would love to know why some iPadOS apps STILL dont have app sidebars, like podcasts. Its' still using the old design

Third-party apps need an update for sidebars. If it's apple's stuff then it's just because they either couldn't figure out the UX in time or they haven't gotten around to it.
 
Also love how the 2 trillion dollar company still cant figure out how to get news+ audio stories workin on an iPad.
 
Blocking notifications aren't coming up (even though I have the right settings) and I can't set Spotify as default. Nice.... Oh, and the watch unlock isn't working either. Thrilling update.
 
Unlock with Apple Watch doesn’t work if I’m wearing glasses, if I take them off it works. :(
 
Is this the biggest update of iOS not in a major release? Tons of stuff.

EDIT: Memoji already had beards for everyone - whoops!

Anyone know if the new Podcast app allows user to subscribe to personalized feeds (like patreon exclusive shows)? What about if it allows for clickable timecode jumps in the description?
 
Question for Verizon subscribers, Is the option to disable VoLTE still available in cellular options in iOS 14.5?
