How about Left swipe is your widget panel and Right swipe is this new auto catorgized app squares.

The middle panel is the default, most used apps. That you choose.

And Prosser was wrong when he mentioned iPhone OS. I don’t know why he bought that up

finally PIP Support😁

Not useful to me too much. I only have one page. All apps are either arranged in my Apple folder or 3rd party folder. Of course my main apps are also on the home screen. Need to find an app? I just pull down on the home screen and type in a new app letters and launch it. I like the widget idea though. Seems like my iPhone X is getting a bit on the small side.

iOS 14 is pretty much ripping Android off in every aspect. Too bad they only allow default browsers and email apps to be changed though.

Haha. What are all the docker whiners going to complain about now?

Wow. Maya at least appears a to be running really well under Rosetta.

The biggest thing that caught my eye on one of the keynote pages was the ability to se the default browser and email apps

Any mention of stability/speed as a focus of iOS 14, as it was for iOS 12? iOS has been a bundle of problems for many of us.

I still want to put my apps at the bottom of the screen and leave blank space at the top or wherever I like, but overall, I like these changes.

New widgets reminds me of Windows Phone live tiles. Long live Windows Phone. 😜

I've always hated how iOS pukes out dozens of icons on each screen with no particular use concept other than dumping them in a folder. The way I use iPhone, I have 3 to 4 apps (outside the dock) on the main screen, everything else is launched by text search.

Finally, we have large informational tiles. This is the first iOS update I'm excited about.

From a GUI point of view IOS6 remains Apple's finest hour and they've been on a declining slope ever since.
Apple just seem to exaggerate the parts I dislike in their OS and drop the things I do! :(
Hopefully when I use it my opinion will be changed, but from the screen shots posted so far it looks like it was designed by and aimed at children. :(

Agreed, some of the most prodigious children on the planet.
