I have iOS14 beta 4 and it’s TERRIBLE. My iPhone 11 Pro Max battery gets sooooo hot right under the camera when browsing the web or watching a YouTube video or just using the phone in general. I don’t know what the issue could be. I did a hard reset and still gets firey hot. Then to protect itsself, the screen brightness dims until I stop using the phone as it cools

Same phone, same beta. Works fine and it’s not getting hot. We see that some of us have problems with Betas, some not. Sad for you. I would try to install it again and see if the issue will be solved.

i absolutely HATE it. It reminds me of those strange ATMs in some countries where I almost always put in 1,000 $ cuz i fills up the 0 from the opposite direction like if I want to set an alarm to 7 am it always ends up as 0:07 and then I have to add like additional three zeros to move the 7 to the left. I am like wtf?!

As some of you have already posted, the time picker in calendar is absolutely awful. Who ever thought that would be a good idea clearly isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I’ve sent feedback saying that in my opinion it’s absolutely counter intuitive and ugly.
Couldn’t agree more!! I despise the new setup. The Price is Right wheel system was infinitely better!

I submitted feedback. They really need to go back to how it was.

They won’t. Likely because this version is easier to use with a trackpad.

This isn’t specific to iOS 14, but I just have to say, I love the reminders app. I had my phone remind me to do something when I turned on the car that I definitely would’ve forgotten if I didn’t set the reminder.
If you love that then try out Goodtask which uses reminders data.

When I start a call, regardless of whether via the phone (XS Max) or the Air Pods pro, I don't hear a signal, the conversation is still established and I can't hear the person I'm talking to.

It only works again after a reset.

No sure anyone has experienced this but when I make a phone call using my AirPods I cannot hear anything. It’s says they are connected but I get nothing. I switch to speaker until I get sound (there is a couple second delay) then I switch back to my AirPod Pro and then I can hear again thru them. The most recent time I had this issue I was listening to a podcast and then went straight to calling out a phone call and the volume went out.
Ok, the Issue has allready been posted.

What works for me is to start the call using the phone and then, once it is connected (seconds start counting), I switch to the AirPods.

Not sure of this is b4 or it existed prior to b4.

Using a new Magic Keyboard for my IPP 11.
When typing in Messages or Mail, at times, random?, the on screen keyboard will pop up. I can shrink it off screen but it sometimes pops right back into view.

Reported via Feedback.

I’ve been having this same issue on my iPad Pro 11 as of b4, too. Not prior.

Yeah I do the same thing. Kind of a hassle but it’s a beta bug so we gotta live with it. Hopefully it will be fixed this week

I can't wait anymore for this night. This beta4 on pro max 512 is totally unusable, I lost some videos of my child due this bad release.
The beta1 was the best, all the other ones are killing battery, applications closes, crashes, a disaster.
Returning to iOS 13 now.

Haven't had any of the issues with temperature that a few other commenters have mentioned, but for the last 2 days...I've had some pretty significant battery drain on my iPad. Have noticed a faster drain on my phone as well, but not nearly to the same extreme as my iPad.
Same here (no heat) and battery does seem to drain quicker.
