That’s exactly my main issue. Just switching apps often requires the app to reload. It’s acting as of very short of ram

did you figure out any particular cause (a bad app)? Most likely it’s core os memory management. First beta for me that’s been a bad one
Had the same thing the other day, thought it was just me. Force quit everything that was open and did a reboot and it's a lot better.

As some of you have already posted, the time picker in calendar is absolutely awful. Who ever thought that would be a good idea clearly isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I’ve sent feedback saying that in my opinion it’s absolutely counter intuitive and ugly.

i absolutely HATE it. It reminds me of those strange ATMs in some countries where I almost always put in 1,000 $ cuz i fills up the 0 from the opposite direction like if I want to set an alarm to 7 am it always ends up as 0:07 and then I have to add like additional three zeros to move the 7 to the left. I am like wtf?!

On mine, the alarms do actually go off, but they don't make any sound or vibrate. I've restarted but it happens again the following day. Have you come up with any workarounds?

I had the same issue, i reported a bug report but as of right now it says no other reports

Iphone 11 the alarm sound doesnt go off but on my iPhone 8 it seems to work fine

I couldn’t agree more with your dislike for the new control.

If you go into accessibility, turn off prefer cross fade transitions and the keyboard vanishing doesn’t happen anymore. Someone here suggested that and it’s been perfect for me since.

Where Abouts is this setting. I can't seems to find o
It on my accessibility settings on xs max?

Could anybody try saying to Siri, e.g., 'remind me to pick up laundry Sunday at 3pm'? On iOS 14, my Siri will never attach time or dates to reminders. It just creates a basic 'Pick Up Laundry' reminder without any notification at the time I asked for. Wondering if it's a widespread bug or not.

It attaches time for me. It doesn’t attach a day, because it is today and would be redundant. It has always done this for me in iOS 14 when setting up a reminder for the same day.

Weird. Doesn't work on my 11 Pro, iPad Pro, Mac or Watch (all running betas), whatever date or time I say. Works fine on my iOS 13 iPhone SE (same iCloud account). Thanks for trying it.

I just tested it again, and this time it stated today at 3pm like iOS 13. That is the first time with iOS 14 I have seen it do that.

I too have another SE running iOS 13 and it has always said Today at xx for a reminder set during the same day.

Yeah, to be honest I wouldn't mind if it behaved like that for same-day reminders, it's just that mine is refusing to set times or dates at any point! Makes Siri practically useless for me to set reminders which is a shame. Fingers crossed it's fixed by GM.

I have iOS14 beta 4 and it’s TERRIBLE. My iPhone 11 Pro Max battery gets sooooo hot right under the camera when browsing the web or watching a YouTube video or just using the phone in general. I don’t know what the issue could be. I did a hard reset and still gets firey hot. Then to protect itsself, the screen brightness dims until I stop using the phone as it cools

This kind of issue has to be reported. You’re not the only one that’s mentioned this and I hope others have reported it as well as you. Personally I haven’t witnessed it but I only installed the beta two days ago... so there is still plenty of time

You should remove the beta before you damage your phone.

I had this experience on beta 2 after a very surprisingly stable beta 1. Beta 3 was better for me than 2, but the back of my iPhone 11 Pro Max was getting super hot initially, too. There’s a lot of indexing going on in the background. If you can hold off without your phone getting damaged, it should clear up. But if that’s still an issue definitely let Apple know. At the very least file feedback for it.

Not sure if you use your phone with case. Consider taking it off if you do have a case. Phone can go very hot if it is running intensive stuff or just bugs out and SoC goes berserk.

I use it with out a case and it still gets piping hot. I did a “reset all settings” and see if that helps the issue. Waiting for Beta 5 to hopefully come out soon

Haven't had any of the issues with temperature that a few other commenters have mentioned, but for the last 2 days...I've had some pretty significant battery drain on my iPad. Have noticed a faster drain on my phone as well, but not nearly to the same extreme as my iPad.
