How is it annoying? I genuinely don’t understand why a teeny tiny icon at the very top of the screen is annoying…? The icon should be there because Find My is active. Please explain…I’d love to know

Curiosity - should it be pinging non stop 24/7?
Don’t use it but more curious…

My grand-daughters iPhone 11 has it active and the status icon is seldom visible - 14.8

Mine pings all the time but I have 4 AirTags, several friends and family members and items on Find My that are always tracking or moving so I would think it would depend on what you are tracking

I’m finding iOS not remembering media volume when I re connect back to Bluetooth speakers for example. My device seems to go really loud.

I think my ringer increases to high levels randomly as well.

I’m sure iOS 14 used to be consistent and remember the volumes I left them at with no change until I told it to change.

Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it's an issue. Previous iterations of iOS have had Find My active and the Location Services icon was never permanently stuck on.

I think you meant to say “it doesn’t mean it’s not an issue” and I think you will find if you actually read what I typed, I was not having a go, I am, I mean was, genuinely interested as to your issue with the icon being there.

Never mind, moving on.

Anyone having an issue with iPhone 13 Pro Max where the screen is slightly dimmer for a second or so before going to the normal brightness when waking up the phone? (I hope the video makes is clear)

Seems to be happening when the “Tap to wake” setting is disabled (which I’m not sure how is related to the issue, I’m experiencing).

Find My has worked flawlessly for me without having it constantly ping tracking. It's almost like people have no clue how Find My use to work.

The only change from 14.8 to 15 is that the icon is more visible, but it's not pinging any more than it used to......

I cannot vouch for the 13 specifically but I have seen the same thing on my 12 pro, also had the issue with iOS 14.4+. It is not all of the times but definitely noticeable compared to how it was with the older hardware, where it was a smooth transition. Of course, now it is bright faster, which is not a bad thing, haha.

Just noticed that both my iPad and iPhone are showing my old iPhone 12 Pro Max in Screen Time devices. And of course, with Apple being Apple there is no way to remove it. It’s not on my account anywhere. Anyone else noticed this since upgrading to a new device? Ta.

Noticed it when I had my 13 PM for a few days and it is annoying. Once I noticed it, I cannot ignore it. Out of ten wake-ups, once once or twice when the display doesn't have that two-stage brightening effect. Keeping my eyes open for this "issue".

For about 8 or 9 days “Phone Left Behind” notification on my Apple Watch showed my 12 - my previous phone - as the one left behind even though my 13 is my current phone and every setting and site had been changed to reflect that. Then all of a sudden it popped up the alert with the correct phone name. Some of these features take a while to have everything filter through.

Thanks. Does make you wonder if they are running their cloud servers on piss and smoke!!! Fortunately I still have my old 12 PM so I signed in again, turned on and off Screen Time. Turned it off and on again on my other devices and the old 12 PM has gone…for now!

Not an iPhone, but yes, my old MacBook Pro does show up under screen time, even after I switched to an M1 Mac... I signed out of the device and wiped it completely after switching. I only noticed it today because you mentioned it lol

Garbage isn’t it? You would think when signing out of iCloud it would remove screen time, but no that would be too simple wouldn’t it Apple???? Complete tosh!

No sound notification alerts, (gmail, etc), clean restore, iphone 13 here.
I found a "temporary fix" for me, enabling and disabling the not disturb focus (on settings), did the trick now i have gmail notificacions, problem now the volume is extremely low and there's no way to modify it.
