What exactly is "localisation" ? R u referring to location arrow in status bar? I was seeing high Find My use in Battery, but this seems improved after restore/update from ipsw file.
Yes, that what's I meant.

Yesterday I tried restore with IPSW file but it didn't help.
I disabled localisation for "Find My..." in the end. I'm mad that it's happened again after the same story with iOS 14 on 11 Pro.

Having the same issues others mentioned with location arrow constantly appearing both in the top left by the time and when you pull the top right menu. Digging through location preferences it seems to be a system service that is pinging location but hard to tell which. I get find my, compass, wifi and carrier all purple arrows (meaning recently polled) whenever I check. Battery life hasn’t been great as a result so I have had to disable location services for the time being. This is on a 13 pro. Never had this issue on my 11pm and still do not running 14.8.

iPhone Storage "bug" - Fixed!!! iPhone 12

Back up your phone to computer!

Restore your device this way:

finder + alt + click on restore button + select the IPSW 15.1 b2 from your desktop you've downloaded...

... instal...

... then select your back up you just made, and let your phone finish. Done!

I would then recommend installing further betas, via finder + IPSW to stop any OTA glitches coming through on betas - like the iPhone Storage glitch. Not a bug it seems, as I've just fixed my 12 using the above method.

for you and @enmanuelrrr - I wouldn't expect these storage-related issues to be fixed until you get 15.1, next week hopefully. My iPhone 11 Pro still shows 350GB used on a 256 model (on 15.0.1 via IPSW). There seems something's rotten in calculating storage code.
Never mind… Apparently it just takes a moment to show up. After almost a minute, it shows everything correctly. Apparently in this update it doesn’t index in real time and it just loads up everything after a moment.

Been trying to go back to 15.0.1 from 15.1 B2 for 2 days now off and on thru iTunes on PC. Constant “2009”errors. Tried PC reboots, different cables, different USB ports. Once it goes into “restore” mode the only way to get it out is with 3rd party software. Will just wait it out for final 15.1 I guess.

Are you starting with your phone being in DFU mode??? I think it needs to be in that mode to work

I've never had to use DFU mode to Restore from a Beta. Been running various IOS Beta's for years and never had to use DFU. Sometimes I'll put it into Restore Mode, but most times don't need to as iTunes puts it into Restore Mode during the process.

That’s was the only for it to work for me on my Mac .. sorry it didn’t work for you

That’s odd. My screen time says I was visiting chip.de for hours. I never visit that page. lol.

How is this possible?

Updated to this beta late last night. Noticed that my battery dropped about 10% in 2 hours with little usage.
Did a hard reset and I’ll keep an eye on it today.

Let’s hope its just indexing, I would assume going from 15.0.1 to the beta this is the case

The smallest of bugs but it really messed me up. If you type "tea" or "Tea" as the first word in a message on in an input box it will always change it to "yea". A real pain if that is an answer in a speed round of a test.

Experienced this too but once it autocorrect then it doesn’t happen again. On iOS 15.1 B3 for context

I really, really, REALLY hope Apple gets rid of Find My constantly trigging and the Location Services symbol just sitting on the screen next to the time. I had to turn off Find My. It's REALLY annoying.

How is it annoying? I genuinely don’t understand why a teeny tiny icon at the very top of the screen is annoying…? The icon should be there because Find My is active. Please explain…I’d love to know
