Is the subscription not listed under “subscriptions” under your AppleID? I don’t have any for applications myself (just services) so I can’t say for certain.
Yes, it is listed but no cancel option, only a renew option. I'm trying to prevent an auto renew from happening. Previously in ios14 there was a cancel option, since I upgraded to ios15 that cancel option is no longer there. Now I'm wondering if this is by design for ios15. Both my iPad and iPhone are this way with ios15.

iPhone 13 Pro. On iOS 15.1 public beta. My calendar app locks up when I open calendars. Scrolling through days is very random; does not scroll at all until it just jumps a bit then it stops scrolling etc. filled a bug with Apple. It’s like the calendar hangs.

One Office 365 calendar, one Outlook.com calendar and another subscribed calendar.

Did not have a problem on retail iOS 15 build.

In the App Store I notice there is no longer an option to cancel a subscription for an app just a renew option. Wondering if this is new or been around awhile. Maybe the default now is one needs to renew or be auto cancelled? Seems counterintuitive for getting more money out of the end user by just auto renewing at the end of a subscription cycle. Guess I’ll find out soon enough as these come up for renewal.

Is it possible that you already canceled the subscription? I definitely have a cancel option for my subscriptions. It was there in 15 and it’s also there in 15.1.

However, when you cancel a subscription it stays active until the renewal date and it will still show up in your subscription list until then, with the option to resubscribe (and no option to cancel, since it’s already cancelled).

Thanks, could be, that's the best idea yet that makes the most sense. Maybe I cancelled it in ios14 then in the upgrade excitement forgot as I was going thru checking everything. I will wait and see then when it hits the end date.

Has anyone noticed lower ringtone volume when there's an incoming call?
The volume level when playing the ringtone in the Sounds setting is much louder than when there's an incoming call on my 13 Pro.

By the way, it seems they fixed the flickering keyboard in Chrome issue.
Yes.i thought it only in my device.I hope it will be fixed next beta.I just noticed that media volume is controlling the ringtone volume..bad idea

I stupidly wiped my phone and done a fresh install last night. Since then, I've had nothing but issues. What a stupid move that was!

Let's start with the ringer issue mentioned above; before I wiped and reinstalled, I had no issues at all with the ringer on the general release. But now I have the low volume issue. BUT, has anyone noticed that when the phone first rings, it's loud, then it just drops in volume. Please tell me this is simply a glitch in PB2 and should be fixed in the next release!!! Right now, I have my media volume and ringer set to MAXIMUM.

The other issues I have are:

Mail notifications just won't appear on my lock screen, banners or anywhere other than the mail app. I've checked the notifications settings, Do Not Disturb, Focus... everything and all is as it should be. Is this a known issue?

The notifications that do arrive on the lock screen are no longer grouped, even though I have the Notification Groupings set to automatic. Is this a known issue?

I haven't fully used the phone since last night, but hopefully no more glitches arise.

Here's to hoping for fix next week.

Beta includes diagnostic stuff, etc, that’s not in the public Build, which is a reason it shows more system usage of storage. That will drop again when 15.1 gets RC/released to public.
I guess this week or the next we will check it, because I don't think it will take us long to see the RC version

Worst update ever. My phone not ringing on incoming calls (and I cannot make it work), and battery went down 40% overnight.

12 mini

Some are saying turn up your media volume and your ringer will be louder.. its a work around for now.. i have a 12 mini also as a second phone I don’t see this battery drain with it but I’m not on the beta with that phone so sounds like its a beta thing for sure ..

Same issue here although the last time a few force closes of the camera app fixed it. If you switch to video it briefly resets but then goes blurry again. Opened a feedback on it and see that it has the usual “More than 10” people affected.

On another note, the back of my 13 Pro Max (where the MagSafe ring is) is getting terribly warm just sitting here browsing this thread.
I've had the same blurry issue on my 11 Pro Max. It doesn't happen EVERY time, but when it goes blurry, no photo can be taken. I was able to do video and panoramic shots without issue. I noticed it for the first time yesterday and again today. I did a Google search on "iOS 15.1 beta 2 blurry photo" and found this thread. I also reported on feedback despite not finding a 100% reproducible situation.

One more thing to add to the list of mine... Brightness!

Is anyone else seeing this - When it's dark, I can barely read from the screen. It doesn't seem to adjust too well at all. I need to go in to settings and manually increase the brightness.

Not exactly iOS 15.1 related, but I think Apple should do something about the Dolby Atmos masters when you have a song already downloaded. When the Dolby Atmos support was introduced, it was not as bad to remove all of the currently downloaded songs and to re-download them, so to get the Dolby Atmos version. However, as more and more songs get Dolby Atmos version, it becomes harder and harder to manage the music library if you want to have the Dolby Atmos version of each song. Furthermore, you might never know that a Dolby Atmos version has been released, if you have downloaded the track once. I think that, if there is an internet connection when listening to a downloaded song, it should check for a Dolby Atmos version and offer to replace the currently downloaded one. I find the current implementation flawed and, as a software engineer, I’d never accept it if it was my software product…

True Tone also is no longer adjusting to light. Really hope this isn't a device fault. I'm sure it was working OK before the reinstall.

Do you have Auto-brightness activated? It’s under Accessibility > Display & Text Size

That has to do with face attention. The ringer starts out loud, and if you look towards your phone, it believes you acknowledged the phone is ringing and turns down the volume. You can turn that off. Go to General, Accessibility, Face ID & Attention. Turn off Attention Awareness Features.

Spot on Sir. Thank you.

I'm surprised and wondering how these accessibility options have been turned on by default when I reinstalled. Is this normal?

They were reset to their default values, and having the face aware thing on is the default. That's the fun thing about doing a clean install; you get to go through every settings and have a new think about them!

The problem is not that it starts high and lowers the volume, that would be an adequate operation, but that it starts low now. I have him on the bedside table, 10 meters from me, and he sounds low. it is impossible for me to detect my attention being at the other end of the room. Raising the notification volume if it sounds louder, it is seen that in this beta the sound configuration issue is poorly linked, we hope that in beta 3 it will be solved.

Must be different for services as opposed to apps. My AppleOne, AppleTV+ & Hulu subscriptions all have a "Cancel Subscription" option in them. That would suck for them to try and push processing cancellations back to the app developers as some have been notoriously bad in doing this in the past

Sounds like a good use case for a feature improvement... hopefully you submitted one? I agree with you by the way. I think Apple should have done that automatically or maybe presented users with a prompt asking if you want to replace your music with the improved versions if available. If yes, kick off a background process to rip & replace.
