Sounds like a good use case for a feature improvement... hopefully you submitted one? I agree with you by the way. I think Apple should have done that automatically or maybe presented users with a prompt asking if you want to replace your music with the improved versions if available. If yes, kick off a background process to rip & replace.
Yes, I’ve sent a feature request (FB9675670). A user on Reddit pointed out to me that sometimes the Dolby Atmos masters get updated as well, so yet another reason to change the current implementation.

My eyes are so bad these days since being in front of a monitor for hours on end, I don't think I'll ever be able to notice the difference true tone makes 😂

Now I'm also having the BT issue. This time whenever during a call, all call sounds (mine and the other side) drops even though the BT is still connected. I only use BT in my car, 2018 Toyota Highlander. I think I started having this issue after upgrading to iOS 15.

Nationwide (UK banking app) appears to have been killed by this beta. Or maybe they're hosted within Facebook's servers ...

What exactly should true tone do? I'm just wondering whether I've got the idea of how it works wrong!

The screen though is now adjusting to the light when it's dark or light.
TrueTone will adjust the tint of the screen to (more or less) match the ambient lighting. So in a warmer lighting environment (think, standard incandescent bulbs), the screen will take on a warmer hue. And in a cooler ambient lighting environment (think fluorescent tubes) the screen will take on a cooler aspect.

The idea is that white will appear white whatever the ambient lighting (your eyes and brain will make you think that a warmer tinted white is true white if the ambient lighting is warm; same is true for a colder color temp).

iPhone Storage "bug" - Fixed!!! iPhone 12

Back up your phone to computer!

Restore your device this way:

finder + alt + click on restore button + select the IPSW 15.1 b2 from your desktop you've downloaded...

... instal...

... then select your back up you just made, and let your phone finish. Done!

I would then recommend installing further betas, via finder + IPSW to stop any OTA glitches coming through on betas - like the iPhone Storage glitch. Not a bug it seems, as I've just fixed my 12 using the above method.

@Bobout @gank41 nice one boys 👍🏼

Let's see if I can notice any changes with this. I already have my display on Zoom and letter on LARGE 🥸

I downgraded to 14.8 and I'm loving it, but I think I'm going back to iOS 15. Downgrading unpaired my Apple Watch, and I have to be on iOS 15 to re-pair.

Storage is NOT fixed for me on beta 2, in fact it is even worse
