I personally cannot confirm myself but it looks like @BriceApp advised further up on this page that so far so good on the storage bug.

SIM or eSIM?Anyone that has T Mobile and whose 13 PM couldn't hold a 5GUC signal that may have caused slow connection speeds or dropped 5G connections or kept switching from 5G to LTE, has this modem firmware update fix any of those?
I keep seeing this being asked is there really a difference in performance?? I use a SIM card so I can go back and forth between my mini and pro max .. would love to know if there is a difference !!SIM or eSIM?
I am not sure, personally had not had this issue but I think that depending on what storage limit the phone thinks you have, it could trigger that warning if the phone is saying you have around 0 free space left. I can only assume but it does make sense if both issues are tied to the same factor. Thanks but i think the storage bug (the wrong numbers coming up) and the "iPhone Storage Almost Full" bug aren't happening together.
Heh, I like to call those "app gravestones". You can leave them laying around as a reminder of apps that once were.Whenever you download an app, it will show up in your purchases history which you can redownload in the future as long as it’s not completely removed. In the App Store, that app won’t be visible anymore until the developer updates the app.
If you had an older app like SystemGuard, last updated 2017, it will have an download icon left of the name. When you try to launch it, it will redownload the app and give this prompt to keep or delete so no way to run it.

Yes, for me, I do notice a difference in performance. Used eSIM since Friday to visit usual places and switched back to SIM on Sunday. I’ll stick to SIM.I keep seeing this being asked is there really a difference in performance?? True, however this app was working in B1 but not on this build. I normally delete them too.Heh, I like to call those "app gravestones". You can leave them laying around as a reminder of apps that once were.
That said, how is this build treating them differently? I'm still not exactly sure what you're talking about. I deleted mine, so it's moot for me but I'm curious.
SIM. I reverted back to a physical one. My data connection is bunk. I don’t know if the modem or antennas are bad. I did see a couple reports on Reddit.SIM or eSIM?
Beta tested eSIM when it was in rolling out but it has improved. If you have issue with eSIM, you can always go back to SIM and compare if there’s a difference. Some users experience no difference but I do experience the difference.Thats what I wanted to hear .. thank you
Have you tried network reset? I do it when I switch between eSIM and SIM.SIM. I reverted back to a physical one. My data connection is bunk. I don’t know if the modem or antennas are bad. I did see a couple reports on Reddit.
no I never did the esim thing because I need a physical sim to go back in forth with my two phones 👍🏼. I was just curious if one was better than the otherBeta tested eSIM when it was in testing but it has improved. Yea. I get the same crap after resetting or using a new sim. On the 12PM, never had an issue. With 13PM it goes from 5GUC to 5G to LTE and rarely ever back. DL speeds are like 7 Mbps and UL is anywhere from .02 to 2.3 Mbps. The 12 doesn’t have this problem when I switch the sim. That’s why I’m wondering. I have an appointment Friday to see is this is a bad phone. Was wondering if that modem update helps.Have you tried network reset?
I have an opposite experience on eSIM similar to that where it would keep switching from 5G to LTE with speed around 0-5mbps. On SIM, it went from LTE to 5G and stayed with speed was over 10 mbps.Yea. I get the same crap after resetting or using a new sim. On the 12PM, never had an issue. Technically one is not better than the other. However, you CAN get into a situation where you have a really old physical SIM card that lacks features the phone can use. If this is the case, changing to an eSIM will solve this problem and get those features working.no I never did the esim thing because I need a physical sim to go back in forth with my two phones 👍🏼. Thank you .. my SIM card is new from last year when I bought the 12PM. I appreciate the info !!Technically one is not better than the other. However, you CAN get into a situation where you have a really old physical SIM card that lacks features the phone can use. If this is the case, changing to an eSIM will solve this problem and get those features working.
For example, a physical SIM might not support VoLTE or 5G. But this is uncommon unless you have an extremely old SIM card.
I agree with this. The SIM card identifies your device to the cellular network, so that your device can communicate on that providers network. The modem in the device is what then communicates with the towers and actually transfers data over the airwaves etc. I converted my physical SIM on AT&T to ESIM and have not noticed any difference in signal or connectivity, no matter where I am.Technically one is not better than the other. Shoot. I was getting between 550-660 Mbps download on my 12. Now you see why I think it's defective.I have an opposite experience on eSIM similar to that where it would keep switching from 5G to LTE with speed around 0-5mbps. On SIM, it went from LTE to 5G and stayed with speed was over 10 mbps.
I believe it all depends on where one is at bud. I get 5G but I am not in any major city. I get ~80MB down on 5G. I get ~84MB on LTE in the same place.Shoot. I was getting between 550-660 Mbps download on my 12. Now you see why I think it's defective.
