I know this isn't technically the right section so sorry in advance but has anyone else been having issues updating to ver. 15.1 beta 2 on their HomePod mini? With the profile installed mine still hasn't received the update; I tried a reset/profile reinstallation, etc. and still nothing as far as I'm aware.

I believe it all depends on where one is at bud. I get 5G but I am not in any major city. I get ~80MB down on 5G. I get ~84MB on LTE in the same place.
Yea I know. When TMo launched 5G and upped the speeds in my area, I’ve always had consistent speed. And I’ve rarely moved about since I’m still working from home. My 12PM captured those speeds. This phone can barely hold a signal.

been having issues on 15.1 on wifi. It drops a lot hopefully this release will help resolve that. Using IP 12pro max.

and I get awful LTE/5g speeds. I have waged war with ATT over the data speeds or lack thereof. I barely get 2mbps

It is hard to say but I am only seeing 15.1 beta 2 for iOS/IpadOS, TVOS, and WatchOS

In the App Store I notice there is no longer an option to cancel a subscription for an app just a renew option. Wondering if this is new or been around awhile. Maybe the default now is one needs to renew or be auto cancelled? Seems counterintuitive for getting more money out of the end user by just auto renewing at the end of a subscription cycle. Guess I’ll find out soon enough as these come up for renewal.

Apple needs to fix the nomenclature for Visibility in the Weather app. I know what they are trying to say, but I don't care how far you can see, if its pouring rain, most of the world would not call that "clear" weather. This is the situation I am in now (see attached screenshot from my phone).

Perhaps use the meteorological terms: "fog", "mist", "haze", "smoke". Or use other descriptors like "high", "medium" or "low". See, e.g. this article from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visibility.

Thank you; it's kind of bugging me lol. Is there any way to check build number on HomePods? Or just the vaguely general "X.x?"
Unfortunately, I don't own one. How is it managed? Only through your phone? If they have a web interface, might be able to find more information. I don't think they do though, sadly.

There is no such beta for the HomePod Mini.

Still there for me. I just used it. Only one I’ve never seen there is for Apple Music which seems to have it’s own.

my personal opinion is less than half the people don’t care about that measurement I think it should be removed.. Dark Sky doesn’t use that measurement im guessing because like you said its not clear if its pouring.

That’s my problem. I’m thinking it might be there is a defect with the radio or antenna. I have revert to LTE to be usable.

iOS 15 Safari is the fastest Safari ever. According to WWDC, the rendering engine is almost 20% faster.
if you've been following the beta threads from beta 8 onwards, it's definitely not as quick as before, it'll be fine one minute then slow down the next minute when loading webpages, macOS is also having the same issue.
