iOS 15.1 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I trust it is surely a new of handling storage in ios15.
In ios14, there is always a mismatch between the data storage used by notes and reminders on photo and that sync to iCloud, in all cases, the storage used on phone is much larger than that in iCloud revealing a known bug that note and reminder app could not reclaim the storage after items are deleted. However, it is a well known workaround and suggested by apple support is to delete the apps and data and reinstall the apps again so that the phone would resync with iCloud to resolve the the storage mismatch issues.
In ios15, I can’t even the app and data together. For examples, in the screenshot shown below, the note data remain 1.2G after I deleted the app and reinstall. The reminder app even shown the data left there and awaiting resync after I deleted the reminder app and data all together.
I attached a second screenshot showing the actual storage the two app data should occupy.

Maybe someone mentioned this, but honestly I don't want to read through 7 pages.
There's an annoying bug where if you tap on the address bar in safari and try to scroll, the keyboard will crash.

I’m running it on my 13 and it runs great.
Same. Have had the beta on my 13 since i got it and same for my 12 before this.
I’m running 15.0 and it’s scrollable, so it’s not new to 15.1
hey buddy, I mean this from a good place, don’t download the beta of this is your first stumbling block. It’s a worrying shock you even need to ask this. Read up on beta profiles and the process from Apple and get just a bit more information together before you get involved with betas. 👍🏼
Mail back to its slow arsed tricks… hanging for ages on WiFi “checking for mail” switched to cellular, instant. 🙄
same firmware as 15.1b1 which was fine, so it seems they’ve played around with the app.
EDIT: seems that a “network settings” reset has Fixed the hanging. Seems like this needs to be done every beta now.

How do you get those kind of stats? Sometimes I not receiving calls while on 5g and I see band switching. Thank you

I’ve ran the betas for the last several years. Just got a new phone and don’t have the beta on it. Work in a hospital (masked all the time) and just figured I’d wait until the mask thing is fixed, which is why I asked about beta 2.

Anybody with cellular connectivity issues? Music e.g. will work on 5G but Safari and apps won't load. They will load fine on Wifi. Trying to figure out if the issue is related to the beta or my provider.
Edit: put the SIM in another phone, not a beta, and it works fine there. So it's either the beta or the phone. 🤔
Edit 2: I have dual sim and it’s working fine on the one and not on the other, so the provider is back in the picture.

I’m used to just having the beta so it’s been a non-issue to know if there was a new beta for public (just go check for an update).
MacRumors jumped the gun on their article update, so that threw me for a loop.
Anything I'm doing wrong? I just got a new iPhone 13 pro max. I have the profile installed for betas and I'm stuck on 15.1. Says no update available. I live in FL. I also did a icloud backup install when I got my new phone. That wouldnt have messed anything up would it?
Do you have a “developer” profile ??? Because I don’t think the Public Beta has been re-released yet.. MR said it was released but others said it was pulled ..
No I dont. that totally makes sense. I was hoping it would be out soon. With 15.1 I cant listen to music with apple car play on my phone. It keeps disconnecting. Was hoping this would fix it.
Should be out today sometime unless they found an issue and wont release one this week and will have to wait till next week or roll back to whatever Apple release later today since Apple stopped signing 15.0 for all iphone 13 phones.. I assume you have a 13 from the picture you posted ..
