I'm sure you've already tried this, but just in case, try toggling off iCloud Private Relay and see if you notice a difference. When Safari starts crawling for me (iOS or macOS), turning this off fixes it almost instantly.
I don’t use iCloud 🤔 I’m sure they’ll fix it eventually.

Hey guys, since 15b8 I am drastically not noticing all these bugs being discussed on my 12. RC, ios15, 15.1b1 and todays, all IPSW on. Super smooth, fast installs.

Im guessing OTA, yes it’s easy, but it’s creating issues, potentially. Just my feedback anyway, I get it’s different for all.

Just wondered if anyone who has installed this has noticed that visual look up now works in photos? I’m assuming not and that Apple still forget that anyone outside of the US exists but just thought I would ask.

If you mean by searching in photos for say “red hat” it’s bringing up photos with red hats - I’m in the UK.

Please someone say that safari is back to normal again.
Ok, Safari is normal again. Wait ...whats normal? 🙂
Not really worried about battery life with such a large battery this year. I am worried about quality of life bugs that i am having on 15.0 like unlock with apple watch, tap to wake not working and slow data speeds.
Seems if you are having many issues you may as well update and see if life gets better for you. Can always revert back to the released version. (Get a saved backup first of course.) But one bug you mentioned is resolved soooooo.

Curious, how did you downgrade? Just plug in and restore? I had issues with this.
You have to put the phone in DFU mode, then go through Finder on a Mac to go backwards at least that was the only way I got it to work with out errors ..

That’s not visual lookup, which came in iOS 15, that’s searching photos, which has been around a while.

This is Visual Lookup:

I went ahead and updated. 15.1 beta 2 is so much smoother than 15.0 This is the version that should have been on the 13's from the beginning.

So can anyone confirm receiving text message sounds, and email sounds consistently in b2 on a 13 promax? Hesitant to update since I just downgraded back to 15 just yesterday.

I updated from 15.0 on my 13PM and the only thing I’ve noticed that was bad is the 5G speed isn’t as fast but 5GUC is fastest.

On the iPad, when using the Compact Tab bar in Safari, the tabs are finally scrollable (both with a finger or a trackpad)!

And macrumours seems to be loading much quicker than it did before. Not sure if related to the iOS 15.1 or if some changes were made to the website.

What exactly are the issues you are having? “Massive issues” is pretty ambiguous and could mean anything from can’t connect to exchange to all of your appointments being changed to “Dinner with Tim Cook”.

That said, I haven’t seen any issues with my exchange calendar on 15.1 B1 or B2.

Haha — not dinner with Tim Cook.

Calendar app barely works … When swiping between days, the app freezes requiring a force quit or data/UI becomes stale – Calendar UI showing the wrong meetings for the wrong days. This issue makes Apple’s Calendar app nearly nonfunctional.

Never had an issue prior to 15.1. Which is real weird; downgraded to 15.0 this evening and the Calendar app behaves perfectly.

I posted this in the regular iPhone forum but you guys are pretty smart here so I thought I’d share too and see your experiences. If a mod wants to delete this then fine.

So I’ve been having issues with the 13PM retaining a TMo 5GUC connection and constantly switching to SA 5G and LTE. I’ve been researching the stats in Field Test Mode. I see I’m connected to 5GUC by looking at Band 41 and on NSA or non-standalone 5G Constantine that is active. But I also see that the 5G receiving antennas aren’t even active. This is why I’m thinking the device is bad. Does anyone know anything about these stats? If you’re not having issues, can you compare?

The article has been updated to say that the public beta is out. Is that true? Doesn’t it usually indicate the beta number in the name? I want to make sure I’m downloading beta 2 but I’m not sure if it is or not.

Ohhhhhh I thought I had finally lost it working from home lol. I had meetings in my calendar for Monday when I checked my calendar Sunday but when I started working Monday they were all actually on Tuesday.
