iOS 15.1 Beta Lets Users Add COVID Vaccination Card to Wallet App

The Spanish Government is already issuing a Wallet version of the EU COVID Certificate. I hope that European format will also be compatible because it is already in use across the 27 EU Member States and 15 non-EU countries.View attachment 1838798

Another article written as if the US is the only country in the world. Ugh.

My Canadian province (BC) has issued a vaccine card (too often called a "passport" here) that looks very similar to these SMART-based vaccine cards, but it's unclear if our province is using the SMART specification or not. The rollout of these vaccine cards (different in every province) has been a total cluster(buck), only adding fuel to the fire within the anti-vaxx community.

For my canadian folks, the two provinces that require vaccination card (Quebec and British Columbia) use the Smart health cards standard. It should be compatible

If they added support for the EU Green Pass (which is pretty much the same thing), it would be lovely!
