I see they changed the "Auto Macro" control in the camera settings. previously you had to turn OFF auto macro, but now they have changed it to a toggle to ENABLE to macro control icon on the camera screen.View attachment 1911873View attachment 1911874
They've probably been focusing on the hundreds (if not thousands) of bugs that aren't listed in the release notes, many of which are likely higher priority in their internal release backlog.
No argument here, but developers have been making this argument to Apple for well over a decade (likely long before iOS was a thing) and they've yet to show any interest in changing their practice. While I agree I see absolutely no reason they could not at least blurb that in the RN.
Noticed it now as well. Not in previous beta
Seems to be OK here on my XS. OTA upgrade as always.Anyone here without auto brightness problems?
If that's the case: what device are you using and how did you upgrade?
It seems like it's only affecting newer devices. Thanks!Hopefully this will fix the lag/stutter issues on my XS that's been plaguing me since iOS 15 release.
No issues so far. Auto brightness seems to work fine for me.
iPhone XS, updated OTA from 15.1 to 15.2b3
Modem updated to 4.02.02
KPN NL carrier updated to 49.0

It is just reworded. The following is a direct quote from Macrumors’ Front page article on this:T-Mobile US removed iCloud Private Relay. I got a pop up saying your carrier doesn’t support it. And it’s removed from cellular options.
Nope just like safari on MacBook Pro apple has lost the plotDid it fixed the promotion bug that apple said they would fix eons ago? Lol
Updated using IPSW and it’s broken for me too. It doesn’t auto adjust. If you manually adjust the brightness from Control Center, it will stay there until you toggle off and on Auto Brightness then it will just stay at 50%.Anyone here without auto brightness problems?

Aww shoot! I saw that but ignored it. I read the pop up. Argh! My bad! Thanks for the clarification! It is just reworded. The following is a direct quote from Macrumors’ Front page article on this:
In the Cellular and WiFi sections of the Settings app, Apple has clarified the iCloud Private Relay wording. The toggle, which was previously called "iCloud Private Relay" has been renamed to "Limit IP Address Tracking" to make it clearer what happens when it's turned on.
It is still there just worded differently and T-Mobile allows it.
