iOS 15.2 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Just wondering if the very quiet navigation voice bug in Apple maps that was introduced with the god-awful iOS 15 release, has been fixed in this latest update? And are the voice volume controls back for it? Ta.
Yes, but only with my buddy in LA. UK, where I’m based, messages all working fine.

But they can’t see if you set their contacts message notification or hide alert to silent…. Annnnnd breath ??
I was getting this too when messaging my partner (both in the UK) she was one the latest public release (and not the beta) where as I was on the beta - although touch wood ? since beta 3 I haven’t had it at all (unless she does have them on
Sleep mode was not working overnight let a some notifications come through and with auto brightness not working it lit up the room like it was daytime. ?? checked settings and nothing is supposed to come through but emergency contacts..going to try DND instead tonight to make sure its just the sleep mode in focus

Have the issue on my 13PM but not on my IPP11.
Seeing an issue with some apps on the IPP11 when reloading from the app manager; clicks inside the app don’t work.
Have run into this now on YouTube, Netflix, and DoorDash. Killing and relaunch fixes the issue temporarily. Might just need an app update.

Auto brightness works sometimes on my iPhone 13 pro max, but if I check in control center it lowers to 50 again, and then I have to lock the screen for it to work again. Even so, sometimes it doesn’t work in either way, just toggling off and on, or restarting.
Auto-brightness is bad. Bugs normally don't get on my nerves but this one sucks.
The Now Playing bug seems to be fixed on my end as well so that's nice.

On my iphone 11 pro I do not have the automatic brightness problem, and the wifi calls are not deactivated at any time. in my case, if they tell me that it is beta RC, I could perfectly believe it.
Anyway, the automatic brightness if you touch it in the control center, it has been half deactivated as always. because at least when I have had to upload it, it has continued to work, but taking the value I set as a minimum brightness. that is, if I need 25% brightness, but the phone considers that I only need 20%, I manually go up to 25%, from that moment it goes from that 25% to 100%. it never drops to 0%, it always stays at 25%, or whatever you have set. To return to normal, activating and deactivating the automatic brightness is solved. I have had that behavior in ios 12, 13, 14 and now with 15.

+1 to this. But I’m not sure if this is the exact same thing iPhone 13 users are facing.
switching AB off then on is not doing anything on my 13PM its stays at 50% no matter what if I go from a bright room to dark room with door shut stays the same.. I turned it off for now and just move the toggle for what I need until new update comes out.. seems like True Tone is over correcting in beta 3 a lot warmer, turned that off too….
Agree on True Tone. Turned it off when playing with anything that might help the AB and the difference was stark.
It wouldn't be out of character for Apple to push an updated Beta 3 build today or tomorrow with how widespread the reports have been both here and Reddit, especially with the holiday coming up next week and it being for sure two weeks before we get another one. Corporate is closed the entire week of Thanksgiving so it's either this week or the one after Thanksgiving.
That is surprising. I definitely could not do this in b2, but was able to do it in b3 immediately.
I am wondering if this is the beta version Apple gave back Face ID when replacing screens via 3rd party and borking Auto-Brightness was an unintended consequence.
