Looks like another useless update , no modem update dispite 2 modem updates for iOS 16 beta

Bugfix update, folks. Apple isn't going to be backporting big changes at this point. If you want excitement wait for iOS 16. Frankly I'm enjoying my incredibly stable phone on iOS 15.

I dont think iOS 16 is very exciting tho, would rather have stable iOS 15

For me, personally, the battery seems to last much better, and the phone works much more smoothly.

iOS 15.6.1 is a TINY security update. Those who think it will fix any battery issues they may be experiencing are wrong.

IP XR. I did come from the RC of 15.6 instead of the final so perhaps that's why it did the full download. Even though technically RC and final are the same.

Actually I agree. While I didn't feel like I had "battery issues" with 15.6, today my phone has substantially better battery remaining than usual. Typically after an update an iPhone takes a hit for a little while. Anyway 15.6.1 in fact does seem to be better on battery. At least on day 1 after updating.

The news is saying something about a hack where people can get in and control your Apple device. The update has additional security to keep this from happening.
