Two things pissing me off on this version:

A) Snoozing reminders no longer works. If I long press on a reminder notification and choose an option to remind me later, it doesn't change the time/day of the reminder and it doesn't remind me later

B) Files app no longer works properly with certain apps turned on in the "Locations" section.

Have this weird bug with AirPods, where if you wear only one, take it out and put in the other one, the volume is much louder on the new one and every time i adjust the volume, it goes right back to where it was. Literally can’t change the volume, just keeps going back. Strangest thing ever, restarted it, went away for a little and then came back again.

iP13 mini since 16.0.0 and after update 16.0.2
*still overheating during CarPlay
*email accounts does not work with passwords for SMTP and not sending emails. Solution delete account and set it as new
*Safari = just disaster *some blank webpages *emptying baskets when moving to in them in web stores *in some webpages constant popping up cookie content for dis/agreement causing disability use the webpage
* read/write error during restoration from file backup from PC (used 4 cables different ports)
all problems were tested on other platforms including iOS 15.7 and Google chrome under iOS 16 and they were unique for Safari and iOS 16.0.2

I am very disappointed by recklessness of Apple policy to fix a problem by admitting a very poor quality of the system and not letting users with major problems to downgrade the system. It is the second time Apple try to respond giving time and energy cost unbearable advices as a restoration, reseting network settings causing deleting wifi passwords, unrealised promised calls (8 in two cases in last three months) from higher or now they call it senior support and let you give up before the end. Previous case lasted two and half months (during that I haven't received 7 scheduled calls back), high support was not able to find the reason of the problem even my lead was since beginning right (iPad cannot have a separate account for Homekit hub because then is taken as a person/memeber in home) so after 30+ hours we found the problem causing disability of automating switching presence for Homekit which I suggested and they refused since beginning and at the end came up as the problem is not fixable because of poor programming the app. What was the response for you from Apple? Did you go through nonsense restoration or similar with smile even you knew it is most probably not going to fix the problem because you can read and able to find similar issues across forums?

I’ve noticed strange behavior in the mail app on my iPhone 12PM. I start an email, select Cancel and Save Draft. If I open the draft by selecting the email in the Draft folder or by touching and holding the create mail icon, the From line is blank. Has anyone else observed this?

Just tested on my outlook, iCloud and work exchange account and not seeing your issue.

When I open the draft again, all the fields appear.

Fitness Focus always reverts to OFF for start automatically when starting a workout. You switch ON, close settings, then reopen, it reverts back to OFF.

Boggles the mind with all of these beta releases every year, these obvious bugs are never caught during the betas. No light/dark wallpapers as well is a real doozy.

The AirPods battery info in the battery widget vs the AirPods section of the Settings app provides different info. iOS 16 is such a mess.

iPhone 14 Pro, AirPods Pro 2

Here’s another glitch. iPhone 14 Pro in use since launch, randomly decided to get rid of the battery history two days ago. We did nothing to trigger a reset or anything like that. Strange stuff going on in iOS 16.

is the only way to change Home Screen wallpaper to go through all those hops on the lockscreen/homescreen combo by holding lock screen and going through the motions? And even to select from my photos once I'm on that screen.

Used to be so quick to do from settings, this new one is ridiculous any time I get a hankering to change my Home Screen background.

im sure im missing something...

Anyone else still having the "Issue activating iMessage" problem that people were seeing on iOS 16.0.0? Supposedly it was fixed in 16.0.1, got my 14 pro today it auto updated to 16.0.2 and still is seeing the iMessage/Facetime issues. My Carrier was unable to help, and apple support said to wait 24 hours.

Maybe you can’t for the earth predefined one and others that are the stock set?

Thanks this worked for a custom set
Works for the others as well. Just chose the option on the bottom to Add a Nee Wallpaper and it’ll bring up all those predefined ones.

Anyone noticing stuttering animation when swiping back to the Home Screen or other apps? It’s inconsistent but when it happens usually whatever you’re listening to gets a slight interruption. Any one noticed it?

Sadly signing out, signing back in, toggling in the cloud and all of those troubleshooting steps have not resolved this problem. Its annoying but not the end of the world. If it still happens once iPadOS 16 and Ventura drop, then I think its an issue with my account and not so much a bug.

I had the issue along with Apple Watch being out of sync. I turned it off on all devices. Deleted all messages from all devices except my phone, which I felt was important. Restarted all devices. Signed out of iCloud on every thing except my Mac and phone. Restarted one more time. Run a back up on your iPhone to iCloud. Wait til finish then Sign back in to everything. Turn iMessage in the cloud on with your phone first while plugged in, then turn it on all other devices. To be safe you may restart the other devices again but I didn’t. Run a back up on the iPhone. Old messages will slowly start coming up on the other devices as the iPhone syncs.

After this my messages were no longer out of sync. Deleted one, it deleted on the other. Read a message on my watch and it marked read on the other devices. If after a day still the same issue on one device just sign in and out of iCloud on that device. It should clear up.

Yes, I see this on my 14 Pro

The stuttering when swiping to the home screen issue exists on my iPhone 14 pro max.

Today I had an issue on my 14PM where I couldn't swipe up anymore to unlock or to close apps. From the lock screen, I could launch apps from the widgets, but I couldn't exit those apps. The only solution was to restart.
This has been happening to me every hour since launch. Continued through 16.0.2 and .16.1 betas. But I don’t have to restart - can just turn off the screen. Anyone else ?
