That's not a bug. The always on display turns off after some time of not touching the phone (for me it's 45 minutes usually).
Today I had an issue on my 14PM where I couldn't swipe up anymore to unlock or to close apps. From the lock screen, I could launch apps from the widgets, but I couldn't exit those apps. The only solution was to restart.

Today morning I had a huge bug. When unplugged phone from charger after sleep I had no internet access at all - Safari, other apps were not working. WiFi were connected and working, same with WiFi off and cellular data and even disabled AdGuard vpn - all of them not helped.
Only phone turning off and on did the miracle.
Never before had this kind of issue

The name shows up but the message is blocked until authenticated. There is a setting that can be changed to show more or less.
Go to settings, notifications, Messages. Then you can change the "Show Previews" option to; Always, When unlocked, or Never.
That sounds similar to the one I have with Sleep Focus.
If I ask Siri to "Turn Sleep Focus On" then neither the watch or the iPhone switch their screens off. But the "sleep" icon is shown at the screen top, and Control Center buttons are correctly toggled.
If I manually activate from Control Center then everything works as expected.
Siri worked in 15 to activate the focus, once I'd worked out the magix words. Confirmed on my iPhone 11 on betas and iPhone 14 Pro.
Also present here, IPhone 11, except that for me the problem was with mobile data. The solution ...restart....
And that without taking it off the charger. I was in a Starbucks, I had a 4G signal, functional, but it didn't charge anything, even after airplane mode....
One thing I can't stand, and something that Apple is still really bad about is seeing little skips and glitches in on-screen movement.
The iPhone 13 Pro was overly glitchy like this for the majority of its first year, finally getting smooth with 15.5 or 15.6. Now, with iOS 16 it's right back to being "skippy" again. Hoping 16.1 fixes this.

I've seen overlapping text in multiple places, so it's not only on the lock screen. I've seen it usually when it seems the old text was supposed to be gone, and new text replaces it, but instead both are rendered atop one another.
