Nope. Doesn’t work that way. They have a release date and unless there’s a huge issue, they’re releasing it then.

And it’s not particularly buggy for me.
im thinking with the 16.0.3 coming that 16.1 may be released the last week in october

I have work that needs to be done and sometimes Chrome doesnt even cut it, throwing random errors. With manifest V3 coming next year, I am moving away from Chrome as much as possible, and will slowly migrate to FireFox. It’s too bad browser engine market is so dominant by Chrome nowadays.

Safari has the worst website compatibility despite 25% marketshare on mobile. Chrome, well, has the marketshare and enjoy IE era monopoly. FireFox is probably the last stand of a cleaner internet but that is also dying cause developers dont care about FireFox rendering compatibility either. It’s sad.
Best FF extension: containers. You can be logged into multiple accounts from the same source (Gmail, Apple, etc. ) and not have to switch browsers. Great for work and personal Gmail accounts, etc.

Has anyone made any changes to their HomeKit automations, for example, changing the time your lights go on or off from sunrise to say, 30 minutes before/after, and they just haven’t fired?

Automations that rely on time in both HomeKit and Shortcuts seem to be having issues. The sunset ones work but any others that are time dependent don’t.

That’s probably a good guess. I still think we will only have 5 betas though. “4” this week, “5” next week, RC the week of the 17th and release the week of the 24th.

Oops: this 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 the speculation thread is it?

I hope they fix battery life on the next beta. I’m only getting 7-8 hours SOT on my 14PM. Background app refresh off. AOD is on since day 1.

Mine didn't fire last night, and are setup this way (15 minutes). Last night was the first time it didn't go. I have an AppleTV as the home hub.

Updated Instagram today - keeps crashing continuosly. Must be combination of Beta and Instagram 255
Not just on beta it crashes on 16.0.2 so is and issue with just Instagram 255 lots of reports on twitter with the same issue of crashing on iOS.
