Well 16.0.3 broke Siri and dictation on my iPhone 13 Pro Max so I will update to the current 16.1 beta in hopes of getting that back. Apple could **** up a wet dream.

Verizon on 14 Pro - I'm having pretty consistent dropped calls and cell signal completely dropping out for a few minutes. I often have to restart the phone to send an SMS text message or access any data.

Same my 14pm on Verizon keeps dropping all bars randomly on this beta, super annoying. And wifi calling doesn’t always take over so the call drops.
Having the same Verizon issue with a 14 Pro. Hopefully next beta resolves this.

Was installing Watch OS 9.0.2 on my AW7 from my 13 ProMaX (on B4) and I was getting the "Paused" alert on install. Checked the watch - 70% battery, looking good. Checked the 13PM and other than the alert, it was paused.

Tried rebooting the watch - no change.
Tried rebooting the phone - no change.
Tried a hard reboot of the phone - yes!! Clicked Install and it started.

Why the pause? No idea. Watch is not on beta.

Hi there, I just found that the ”System Data“ keep increasing until the phone is full. Reboot can fix temporarily.

Anyone has the same issue?
Mine is iPhone 14Pro with iOS 16.1 (20B5064c)

I have restored the phone again but it doesn’t fix.

Same here - trying to downgrade from 16.1 B4 to 16.0.3 using IPSW and it just failed…

When does it fail, at what part?

I presume your using finder and holding down option + check for update button then selecting the IPSW?

Restart your mac
Restart and close out all apps on your phone
Make sure your macs plugged in

EDIT: I can get the computer to verify the software, all fine and ready to go, and then when it asks me for my passcode to install, I pull the plug as I don't want to downgrade.

@CamiMR @Pearsey This would be a good issue taken to the new “help” thread.

Please check if this issue is present in this beta, While Watching movie in Apple TV app in my 14 pro, if I turn phone vertical to horizontal, screen will not maximize, we can see small portion in left corner ( Not PIP ), This issue comes if your display setting is in Zoom, Display setting in Standard is works fine. Iphone 14 pro, iOS 16.0.3

someone asked about the CarPlay issue. I’m still having the CarPlay bug. When wired connection to car (CTS) folks I call report they can hardly hear me, even with their volume at max.

It was reported here

Hopefully we get a beta today and it fixes it.

If you sync to a computer it can also dump a lot of data files.

I dropped 2 gigs.

EDIT: I just emptied my Spotify cache for the first time, 4 gigs 😆
thats now come off my system data also

Yes to using finder, option + check for update, and restarting both devices multiple times…
After finder finished extracting update, when preparing iPhone to install update, unknown error came up.
Other users were reporting the same, and that the IPSW was still not bringer by Apple?
Might have changed in the meanwhile, but think at this point will have for final 16.1 to come out, and install with IPSW after a few days

How does that then leave your phone?

Reason I'm asking is Ill give it a go myself and see whats happening.

In recovery mode.
Downloaded 16.1 B4 IPSW and was able to option + update, just to the same version I was already on…

Standby battery seems good alas not usage battery on beta 4. I find the iPhone 14 PM gets more warmer when on cellular data as well.
