13 ProMax on 16.2 and mine is still in beta.
iPad Pro 11 2020 is still showing beta also.

I’m on 16.1 and it’s showing out of beta.

Is the status bar still blurring out when FaceTime works on the DI in this beta?
Weird that blurs and nothing else. Bug?

Have any of the bugs been fixed in 16.2? The memory management and shutters that open when closing an app? I can’t believe these made it into the final version of iOS 16.1. I can’t leave any apps open and expect them to be where I left off anymore. I am using the 14 PM so I should have the most RAN possible.
I believe both might have been fixed, I have had lot less app closes due to memory running out in the past 2 days

Decided Im gonna ride this train too

was on RC last week, GM Monday, ready to get back on the wagon

16.0 to 16.0.2 was good. 16.0.2 to 16.0.3 was ever marginally better, 16.1 better, lets keep this trend up

14PM

For beta veterans . How long can you stay on old beta before it relentlessly pesters you with a pop up you’re on an old beta?

Just in case I wanna tread carefully b1 to b2 or get phenomenal battery life, etc

So far seems pretty impressive for off the cuff upgrading and not letting things settle much

iOS is like an appliance to me. Like a fridge or a cooker, I use it each day without really thinking about it. It’s mature and works quite well.

I update so that it remains secure and able to run the latest software. New features are never really the reason for my either using it or keeping it up to date.

Like any useful tool, be it a pencil or a hammer, as long as it works and keeps out of the the way of performing tasks efficiently, I don’t think about it.

Boring, I know.

Adding to the litany of bugs.

Btw has anyone else had their phone go crazy while a live activity was active? Several times now my phone goes nuts and flips between different apps all by itself while the dynamic outlined island pulsates like John Travolta on a Saturday night.

Folks, wanted some benchmark here. I watched a 30 min episode on Paramount+. My battery ran from 100% to 85%. Is it in line to what you have on your devices? iPhone 14PM @ 16.2 beta

The world may never know (as we move on to the newest bright shiny thing in minutes)!

In seriousness, I don’t think there is a “shelf life”. Apple will stop signing it so you can’t get back to it if you move on but I don’t think there’s anything preventing you from staying there.

So far it's been smooth on my iPhone 14 PM. Hopefully it's fixed this time, since I thought the same thing yesterday with the release of 16.1, but I was wrong.

I guess what I meant is when does the annoying “please update iOS beta” thing come up every time after unlock? When profile is still installed and a new build is communicated as out?

On the pursuit for the best battery life so gonna uninstall profile post b1 for now and just tread more carefully between betas (though will probably submit and dive head first on some for fun, anyways)

Don't have Paramount+, but I do that with Prime on my 13PM and it doesn't suck up that much.
Maybe 10% at the most.

Are you using headphones or speakers? Headphones seems to use less.
