iOS 16.2 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Sheesh people: do not judge device performance in the minutes following completion of an upgrade. Phone is doing all sorts of housekeeping, indexing and logging, all of which likely affects memory and performance. If it’s still doing this in 6 hours, then complain.

Well it hasn’t done in the last few betas so it’s not exactly a crime of the century to mention an observation and asking if anyone else is experiencing the same.

Now I’m seeing stuttering in safari for the first time. Great.

Happens quite often. Normally closer to the end of the cycle as builds become more stable.

I haven't really noticed that, but that may be because I live in Europe and usually I'm checking for the update next day. Anyway it's always good to learn something new every day

I wonder if it’s that the GPU is dropping frames.

LinkedIn, instagram… I think it’s safe to say any scrolling there’s a stutter.

Something up with ProMotion ?!

Just installed it on my 13 Pro Max, every animation has stutter. Whether it’s swiping between pages, scrolling safari or messages. Very jarring stutter all throughout the OS. Will give it time and see if it improves
