I need help with Mail. I go into my iCloud junk email and it’s all stuff I’d like to be receiving. I’ve moved them to the inbox multiple times and they continue to go to junk.

Am I resigned to just checking it like a second inbox?

Sadly that is the only way I am aware of from iOS/iPadOS
Even when it works (stops going to Junk) it can and does flip back to Junk at some future point.

My iCloud mail barely does any junk mail filtering on its own but the stock Mac Mail App on my MBP does. Once my Mac Mail filters, then it syncs to my devices. If you also use Mac Mac or another desktop mail app with your iCloud email account, then try disabling the Junk mail filter on that and see if fixes the junk mail issue.

If the above isn't your issue, the only think I can think of is to create a newsletter contact in your iCloud contacts account and add all the sender email addresses for the newsletters you want to not go into the junk mail folder.

Hi, may somebody please test that for me. Still not working again with 16.3 Beta?

"AirPlay Not Available On iPad With External Display". If a monitor is connected via AV Adapter / HDMI the audio can no longer be sent to an Airplay Device.

Basically, I have a different application. The iPhone is connected to the car via Wireless Carplay. But the sound should be sent to an Airplay device. Audio-In for a DSP car amplifier.

That worked wonderfully with iOS 15. Apparently this worked until 16.2.

Thanks!

PIP - Video

Have had this happen on Paramount+ and YouTube - so far

You have PIP going, jump back to the app and while the app opens, the actual video stays PIP.
See YouTube example below.

Update: Same issue with HBO Max and Netflix also occurred.
Sometimes I get this with WebEx

While I agree in part, it isn’t like I live in big town USA.
I live in a beach town in SoCal.
Problem this morning was the stated weather matched the forecast while actual was quite different.

Btw - the weather on my Android was accurate.
Switching away from TWC/IBM was a mistake IMHO. Completely broken.

Soooo… I tried it! Had to. I wanted to be on tele (jokes)

Annnnnnnd, nothing happened.
I think I need the SOS icon to be lit up white to say there is a connection. So if you’re stuck in a cave, you’re screwed. But adrift, you can give Jaws a run for his money.
It was pretty clear needed to be outdoors with line of sight to the sat. Indoors isn’t supposed to work.

Not a bug. Apparently it's a "fix" since 15.7.1 and 16.1. Have a read here:
See the "Backup" section:
Well, it started in the 16.0 betas. I have encrypted backups on.

The conclusion I agree with, this will cause missed backups, which will lead to data loss. If this is an intended security fix, then the fix is flawed.

The fix should be enter passcode once for the first time and exchange certificates. If you have the certificate, you should need the prompt. That and encryption should prevent any CVE.

My bug feedback has many similar reports. I have a new phone, maybe I’ll call Apple … if I have a few free hours.

Anyone else having issues with Wireless and Wired CarPlay not working after update to this beta? Wired CarPlay will work but it takes reconnecting the phone multiple times to get to activate.

Do you guys see an option for Apple Savings account?
Nothing here.

I did end up with this at the end of the process though.

iP 14 Pro-max Now for some reason the Wi-Fi disconnects came back with a vengeance , not sure what is the reason after being fixed for me on iOS 16.2 and almost two weeks on iOS 16.3 beta 1.

Messages - Forwarding

Don’t know why I did but, maybe I noticed something, anyway I started matching messages between my 13PM and IPP11 - all messages are forwarded from my iPhone to my iPad.

In just the last few days, I am missing a number of messages. From iMessage and SMS/MMS senders.
All messages are on the iPhone. The messages missing are strictly on the iPad.

Didn’t miss anything critical, thankfully.

Has anyone attempted to downgrade to iOS 16.2 after enabling the use of Security Keys on their Apple ID? I figured it shouldn't be much of a problem as you need iOS 16.3 to add Security Keys. It's not like I'm prevented to login to my Apple ID on a Mac running macOS Monterey after adding my Security Keys. But you never know..

I made the splurge and can confirm that you actually can't. Had to remove my security keys before I could use my Apple ID on iOS 16.2. This prevent me from "updating" from iOS 16.3 BETA1 to 16.2 via Recovery Mode, which normally works. Had to go via DFU mode, restore to iOS 16.2, then restore from my backup. Not much of a problem, just takes a tad bit longer. My backup restored just fine and I'm running iOS 16.2 using my iOS 16.3 backup.

Unfortunately that’s what I have to do. Even some of those that I have added as contacts will occasionally wind up there. But those that have been added to the Inbox, or on my Mac marked as not junk, still wind up there. Been this way for several years.
I just stopped using mail altogether instead 😭

Have just noticed what seems to be a massive issue with Screen Time and Downtime settings (for kids)

It seems that at least from iOS 16.2 the ability to restrict changing the date and time on devices is no longer possible. So kids can simply change their clock on device and prevent downtime blocking. I don't know if this change/bug was there from iOS 16 or if its a regression since 16.2. Still present in 16.3 and on latest Ventura beta.
