13 ProMax

Been doing a good bit of testing since the reset and reinstall

One aspect is 5G.
This device is on AT&T and I have 5G+ available.
Speeds however, both 5G and 5G+ are down.

It is averaging well under 100Mbps down and under 1mbps up.
Way less than last check (16.2b1)
Normally it was 200+Mbps down and 3-5Mbps up.

Weird now-playing widget bug on the lock screen this morning

Overall the first 16.3 beta has been really solid for me on 13 mini, so much so that thus far I feel little itch for a second. Still excited to see what January and the rest of 2023 bring, though. :)

Happy holidays, everyone 🫡

13 ProMax & iPad Pro 11
Music - AirPods Pro

Been playing a good bit of XMas music and vids the last couple of days.
When listening via my APP (Gen 1) sporadically the sound will cut out then cut back in - not a pause, more like a mute.
Playing using device speakers all is good.
Used my BT speakers and all is good.
Just with YouTube at the moment and APP.

Did they fix this? I open the case, put in one ear bud, all batteries are accurate. Listen for a bit, look at battery level, get this. Reopen case, everything goes to normal, a little while later it becomes this again. iOS 16.2

IPad Pro 11
PIP - Video

Have had this happen on Paramount+ and YouTube - so far

You have PIP going, jump back to the app and while the app opens, the actual video stays PIP.
See YouTube example below.

Update: Same issue with HBO Max and Netflix also occurred.

You have so got to love the Weather app / widget.
Says partly cloudy and it is actually raining with full clouds.

Makes you wonder sometimes if they are feeding you actual data or just the forecast and serving it up as actual data. :(
Unless you have the actual weather station that data is pulled from, exactly at your location it could be totally accurate for the location of the actual weather station. So, it's otherwise based on forecasted data. A 50% chance of rain means that there is a 50% chance of rain at some point in "forecast area". In the US, forecast areas can cover 20 to 50 counties in whole or part. In my case, in a large metro area, the weather station used is actually 8 miles from my home. So, what you are seeing is probably totally accurate in some place in the forecast area. 50/50 chance of being right or wrong.

While I agree in part, it isn’t like I live in big town USA.
I live in a beach town in SoCal.
Problem this morning was the stated weather matched the forecast while actual was quite different.

Btw - the weather on my Android was accurate.

So for those alarm widget folks out there, my widget has now stopped working correctly as well. Bedtime alarm shows as off and only the manual alarms now appear in the widget. Oh well, it was kinda cool when it worked correctly. Guess I will replace that with something else more useful now.

So even on this beta, they still haven't fixed it? I just can't get my head round how crap their coding is these days that this issue has existed for release after release and still not fixed… Along with myriad others of course.
