Well the volume control in a call bug is an obvious issue that should’ve been fixed by now, but here we are.

Apple has a way of ignoring the blatant bugs.
But but but… my volume works during the call. Am I in a different beta? 🤔

I have 1 Gbps internet plan.

That isn’t what was asked. What is the speed between your wireless device and your router. That is your bottleneck, because getting a 1Gb plan is for WIRED speeds, not wireless. Unless your router supports 1Gbps WIRELESS speeds, you are not getting 1Gbps speeds to your wireless devices.

BL.

I wish there were some way for Apple to make the now-playing lock screen “widget” more compact, especially when both:
  1. Cover artwork is expanded
  2. Music is playing to (or from) a connected AirPlay (equivalent) device, such as a HomePod (pictured).
It just looks bad. For instance, there’s no good reason the name of the HomePod (even if the text is small) needs a whole line to itself; perhaps they can fashion a creative, pleasing way to wrap the name’s text around the HomePod or other device icon in the “widget.”

Of all the lock screen changes in iOS 16, the new (old) expanded-cover-artwork view as well as how music and other media are generally presented are among my favorite and I feel Apple is so close to nailing the look and feel. But first the paddle needs to be made smaller somehow in order to let the artwork breathe. :)

(Or, you know, they could just do away with those idiotic flashlight/camera buttons )

My router is Asus GT-AXE16000 6Ghz Wifi 6e and my iPad Pro 11" 2022 is connected via Wifi 6e with a link speed of 2400 Mbps. It was Apple server which was farting and giving me 10 Mbps transfer speeds.

That is quick. Dam quick.
I’ve got 100meg and it’s plenty fast enough. And yeah you could have 1,000,000Mbps, but sites limit the bandwidth you can have. Sucks.

I’ve never seen more than 10 Mbps from Apple, I’m normally around 9.4. so 10/15mins isn’t so bad to wait for a new beta to download.

That’s a really high ping. Try using a 3rd party DNS like Cloudflare’s. Typical pings shouldn’t be more than 50ms or you’re going to notice pages loading slower.
