has anyone been able to get homepod 16.3 or tvOS 16.3 yet?
They don't show up for me, have they even been released?

DFU erases everything including iBoot and installs everything from scratch. You don't need to put the device in DFU though.
Just hit Restore button, or Shift + Restore and choose the IPSW file.
Hi, what is the advantage of getting new iboot in?DFU erases everything including iBoot and installs everything from scratch.
I prefer it that way if setting up as new.
Generally speaking, it is not a required thing to do for most users but Sal09 had issues, a DFU restore is a more complete and clean method of the restore. Even Apple will recommend doing so as an attempt to fix a pesky issue if other steps were already attempted. Again, not something the average user needs to do but a more complete restore method of the standard.Hi, what is the advantage of getting new iboot in?

Same happened to me on 14 PRO MAXSame on 13 mini. Had been rock solid at 100% health before, throughout, and well after the iOS 16 testing period but more recently has begun dropping—currently at 97%![]()
My iPhone 13 Pro since the end of November, battery health and autonomy is falling very quickly, 6% drop in a month. Apple says that everything is OK, but the system is beginning to restrict tasks and synchronization in the background a lot, not to mention that on many occasions the interface stutters as if it had activated the battery saving mode, when I do not have it activated . Of course I have restored the device several times, but the phone gets worse every day. And Apple's technical support is at Xiaomi's level: rubbish. They don't explain why this is happening to me, and with the people I've talked to, so-called battery experts, they don't even know what a charging cycle is.iphone 13 pro max… since i updated to ios 16.2 my battery health hasn't stopped dropping... it was at 99% last month and now it's down to 94% on ios 16.3.
Battery health started to decline abruptly when I installed iOS 16.2 in December. Also, the battery got really bad, and I already restored in recovery mode without backup and nothing solved. My iPhone 13 Pro since the end of November, battery health and autonomy is falling very quickly, 6% drop in a month. I'm disappointed, this has never happened before
I bought 13PM in March of last year, I already had 11PM and 12PM and I never had this amount of battery health drop in less than 1 year
Actually that sounds like they fixed it. No way your batteries are at 100% after a year of use. So the numbers you are reporting sounds more likely. My release day XR (yeah getting some age now) is reporting 85% and has been that way for a while now through all the 16.x versions including betas.I got my mini around the same time, when the green color came out. So I guess we’re in this together
That being said, the battery degradation on my iPhone 12 was notably more rapid.

I’m trying to fix “Find My” always on in the background. This started with 16.2 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Do you think DFU restore then use iCloud backup file will solve this??Generally speaking, it is not a required thing to do for most users but Sal09 had issues, a DFU restore is a more complete and clean method of the restore. I don't think so. This was a well known issue that started with 16.2. The only thing that seemed to work is to disable the Find My service.I’m trying to fix “Find My” always on in the background. Thank you for the link. I was hoping Find My issue gets fixed with 16.3 but it didn’t for me. I did OTA update. Anyone else experiencing this?![]()
Everything You Need to Know About DFU Mode for iOS Devices
Apple doesn’t want you to go into DFU Mode, and won’t tell you how. But sometimes you need to get in and fix your iPhone. Here’s how.www.ifixit.com
If you are referring to the constant system service location bug, I had it personally on my 14 Pro running iOS 16.2. I ended up rolling back to 16.1.2 to correct that bug, have not gone to 16.3, I am still hesitant, lol. Many have said the bug still exists in 16.3Thank you for the link. It's not bug. IOS 16.2 uses some location for some services more then before, i've disabled all and just leave setting time zone ON. From my experience IOS 16.2 is better then 16.1.2.If you are referring to the constant system service location bug, I had it personally on my 14 Pro running iOS 16.2. Apple actually acknowledged it with a potential fix when iOS 16.3 was in beta, guess they missed the mark. That would lead me to believe that there is a bug though. It's not bug. tvOS was released earlier. I updated my ATV a couple hours ago. I don’t have a Home Pod so can’t speak to that. They haven’t been released yet.
