Please try to reproduce, my 14 pro, in Camera - PHOTO- select Zoom to 3x & above focus is frequently moving up & down even if we keep mobile on the study surface, Zoom at 0.5, 1 & 2 is stable but issues starts once select 3 & above, I like to know if it’s only me or everyone has this issue.

Thank you

Try cleaning your lens. It may be that the focus is trying to lock on a dust mote or smudge on the lens and not on what you are actually attempting to focus on and that’s what is causing the issue.

Tried to edit a ProRAW photo and it’s not letting me do it. The green screen kept appearing. It was annoying. To fix the issue: I had to take a screenshot of the photo and then edit it.

I would say that something happened to corrupt the image. If it happens again, you may have hardware problem.

Has anyone seen this before?

The first image is from the customization screen, the second image is from the actual lock screen.

iPhone SE 2020 • iOS 16.3

How can this be fixed, or is it a known bug?

Thanks, after cleaning lens issue short out, before reading your message I called Apple support, they remotely accessed my mobile & say I am transferring this case to senior advisor

In many of the most recent versions of iOS, I could ask Siri (on my iPhone) to "turn off all lights except Bathroom" and it will do just that. Since this latest update, that no longer works and it just turns off the lights in the bathroom (or which ever room you ask it not to). Surprisingly still works from Siri on the HomePods. Could anyone else please try this? I'm assuming this is yet another bug in this god-awful software.

sorgo what's so (wow) shocking about my post?

I just can’t believe how many glaring issues Apple manages to leave in its software these days!

I see. Well I'm certainly not saying that everybody has all the issues that I have.

But from my perspective, I agree with you. I am absolutely sick to death of how utterly crap, unreliable, you name it, their software has now become. From basic things as dictation, auto punctuation (is truly laughable) to Wi-Fi issues, HomeKit and Siri being two absolute abortions. Really have had enough. The number of ongoing issues I've got raised with Apple is crazy and not one has been fixed. Some of these issues go back to iOS 14 and have spanned multiple iPhones, iPads, HomePods, watches, macs set up as new.

Again, just to reiterate for the deaf few that might need it, this is my experience and I'm not saying anybody else has the same issues.

The auto punctuation actually worked best during the 16.0 betas. It was impressively good then.

Since then: “we don’t need no stinkin’ periods. Periods are for losers!”

Mine also seems to randomly capitalise words as well.

And as soon as I said full stop after the word well, it automatically added a paragraph which has been an ongoing issue for years. And only seems to affect UK English. When I was going through this with Apple, yet again, yet again, yet again, yet again, and had my phone set to US English this issue never reared its ugly head. But because it doesn't affect US English even though they promised a fix would be forthcoming (yes, they could even replicate the issue in house so it wasn't something they couldn't see with their own eyes), it never happened. I would almost guarantee if it was also affecting US English it would've been fixed. #ItJustGetsWorse

Tell him!!!

Nothing to lose. He got back to me on IPSW vs OTA. Make the subject short and punchy, is all I can offer as support for him to notice and reply 🤷🏽🤞🏼

I still don't like the fact that you can clear Lock Screen notifications without needing to verify Face ID. I mean, if you need to unlock your phone to see the details of any notifications on the Lock Screen, but you can just go ahead and clear all and that's OK? Doesn't make sense to me...

Ta but done all that, multiple times. Never had a response from him but every time I emailed Tim I always heard from their Exec Office who put me through to their engineers/devs. They in turn promised the world and delivered nothing, apart from, in fairness, a fix for an altimeter issue with the Apple Watch.

Interacting with their engineers and developers has been over the years far less satisfying than anticipated.
Like you, results from them for contacted issues has been much more miss than hit.

Agreed. This would be an excellent security feature.

As silly as this sounds, my cats do this every morning before I wake up. They use their paws or noses to activate the screen and are able to dismiss notifications and even type in the search bar somehow.

More bugs for me: Astronomy wallpaper is not available, weather app has location permission for app and widgets.

EDIT: this is happening after a factory reset and clean setup, 14 pro.

I've emailed him and haven't heard anything from him lately. He must be very busy.
