I can’t add my ceiling lights; didn’t get any prompts about the new architecture or w/e. However, the battery seems to last forever on 14 pro max - at least on Wi–Fi,

My iPhone 14 Pro Max is still on 16.1, not experiencing any issues except for the fact that third party apps can't seem to use the camera on close ranges. Should I update or wait it out?

I have the same phone on the same 16.1 and have the same feelings, Vazor. I have a few weird bugs (mail crashes on open suddenly these last few weeks and haptic/dynamic island sometimes have a freakout dance session and I have to lock/unlock phone to fix it) but have awesome battery life and no swipe up lag. I don't think 16.3 is being praised enough here for me to risk an irreversible (grrr, signing BS) update.

No issues whatsoever. And as you state battery life on my 14 PM continues to be outstanding. I’m rarely below 75% by the end of a day of full use. Any user is free to not update to current software but in this case it’s a question of why wouldn’t you. I access the AppleSeed beta forums and the ios 16 threads have been virtually silent for a week or more now.

Yeah, because there aren’t any betas…
Because no one is complaining about anything, or rarely. Believe me many of us post issues with current releases as well as current betas. The last thread/forum listed is for the current release. Any issues would be posted there. I certainly, as well as many others, have done so in the past. But not much to complain about or seek help for currently. When 16.4 is released it will become more active. 16.3 generated very little activity.

No camera issues for me

14 pro has an even longer minimum focusing distance. I’d recommend pinching out to see if it switches to the ultra wide

I got a new iPhone yesterday. 14Pro Max. And I can’t believe it but it has fixed the problems that I was having in iOS 16. Some of you might know that in July I was run over by a car. And one thing that the car went over was the iPhone. It didn’t break it ( unlike me- a lot of me broke) and there is not a scratch on it but it seems like it’s having problems with the internal components. This new phone is fantastic. And I am so excited to have a phone that fully works correctly again.

The touch input lag problem after waking from AOD still not fixed… very disappointing

After AOD wakes, swipe up to see notification on Lock Screen takes a split second more to register. I always have to swipe up at least two times

Tried to edit a ProRAW photo and it’s not letting me do it. The green screen kept appearing. It was annoying. To fix the issue: I had to take a screenshot of the photo and then edit it. 😒

Please try to reproduce, my 14 pro, in Camera - PHOTO- select Zoom to 3x & above focus is frequently moving up & down even if we keep mobile on the study surface, Zoom at 0.5, 1 & 2 is stable but issues starts once select 3 & above, I like to know if it’s only me or everyone has this issue.

Thank you

Just tried @3x zoom on my 14 Pro and not seeing any focus issues. Focus locks and stays there. This is indoors and handheld.
