The upgrade was very fast (say 12 minutes start to finish). I can’t say how much faster yet but I still have the old one so I think I’ll find out.

But overall, the greatest increase in speed will be for multicore processes, like rendering.

Enjoy my friend. We can have a speed off together one day over a coffee building a website 😜

What about when the M3 drops though? That **** is gonna bang honestly and we all know it. Or at least it should/could, if the world would stop going to hell in a handbasket for a quick sec.

But yeah, I bet gwhiz is gonna wanna upgrade! And I hope you do! 💻
Everyone will be singing the praises of the M3 - until the M4. As Sonny and Cher used to say, "The Beat Goes On..."

I believe this is new. Seems you now have to enter your Apple ID password in order to access Settings > [your name] > Password & Security. On my iPad on Beta 3 you don’t get prompted to.

Likely a response to the wide-spread news of phone thieves being able to change your Apple ID password provided they know your device passcode.

Edit: On second thought, maybe not. After entering your password once it seems you can access Password & Security again without it. Maybe I just wasn’t fully logged in after installing the new beta.

Or during deceleration of scrolling on promotion.

Personally I don't think this will ever be fixed. It's a side effect VRR and changing rate on the fly, and it doesn't work very well. Well enough to ship a product apparently, but not well enough for the eagle-eyed user.
still stuttering while scrolling 🥲🙃

For anyone interested: Hit the Island still stutters the same, which is ridiculous, this game would have run perfect on my 10 year old Galaxy S4, or Sony Xperia U...
