Where did the Apple Watch battery widget on the Lock Screen go? It disappeared since the previous beta. I was left only with my Sony headphones battery widget with no icon inside. Now the icon is back, but no watch widget.
Mine is there, but I skipped B3 since it's almost always garbage.

Thanks for the input. I have turned off AOD as well. To my eyes, even doing light tasks on the phone sips more juice than before on the 14’s for some reason. Yet the A16 processor is supposed to be more power efficient. I gathered some patience thinking with iOS 16 being a mess in the start that maybe just some optimizations needed to be made. It’s not horrible battery life, I’m getting 7-8 hours Screen on time. I guess I just got cozy with 10-12 hours on the 13 pro max and didn’t expect the next gen phones to take a step backwards in battery life.
On my 14PM, battery life has varied over the various iOS 16 versions and betas. On the most recent version of 16.3.? and on 16.4 betas 2 and 4, I’m getting minimum 10 hours screen active time, even with AOD activated.

The 13PM is indeed a great phone with terrific battery life, probably the best of any iPhone ever. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to “upgrade” to the 14PM and get consistently worse battery life. I hope it gets better for you.

It's really just as good as it gets. The decrease in battery life from the 13 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max was also in the same ballpark like you noticed. Disabling Always On Display definitely helps by about 20% per day. But other than that, the 13PM was the iPhone with the best battery life I ever had. The 14PM doesn't reach the same level, although it's still very good.

Surprisingly, based on the CPU, the 14PM should have been better than the 13PM.
Wonder why not?

Anyone having a problem with allowing screen time access? When an app asks me for screen time access it just continues to load and load but the pop up doesn't show up.

Mine has dropped to 95% with a launch day iPhone 14 Pro Max ;(
My 13 mini (acquired late March 2022) recently dipped to 94%—already far better longevity than the 12 I had before it, especially considering some of the things my I’ve put it through.

Funny thing is I happened to have been born Sept. 4, 1994 :) or 09/04/94 here in the States. Luck o’ the Irish or something… 😏🍀
