Sometimes just reinstalling from a downloaded .ipsw file in Finder fixes a LOT of these type of issues.

::EDIT::
I want to emphasize that I'm referring to just installing the current iOS/iPadOS straight over itself. No restore or anything major. Download the .ipsw file, connect your iDevice, and then hold Option & select 'Check for Update'. Then browse to the downloaded .ipsw file and wait for it to finish. THEN, after about a day or so, maybe even 36+ hours, reboot the iPhone/iPad and assume all is well from that point and only that point. There could be plenty of indexing and file swap happening in the background, sometimes for hours or longer. Wait, then reboot.
I very much agree with your edit part.

Battery life has been the best on this beta since the earlier versions of iOS 16 when I first got my 14PM. I’m kinda scared to update to any new iOS betas/versions after this because I’m so tired of having bad battery life.
I was about to ask... I get like half a day... really bad, but I think the battery of the 14PM has been really bad since I got it anyways.

I did this w/ 16.3 and 16.3.1...

I’m sorry but if these things are really upsetting you, why did you sign up to a beta program?
"I've cleared my phone and don't have many apps to begin with..."
to test the beta.

I can go back to 16.3.1, but the battery has been terrible for me. And I'll have to re-do Google Authenticator, which I forgot to do last time.

What is Apple's equivalent of Authy (or authenticator or whatever)?

Same as google auth, just saved the codes in the password folder with the login details. If you look at any password you have you can option on set up verification mode.

Then on the app you want just go along with the settings as though you’re going to use google auth, but copy the code into the passwords files verification and you’re away. Numbers start to generate. Does an awesome auto verification with Face ID just a tap, so logging in is so fast.

Ah right, it's built into the passwords app meaning a single point for 2-factor authentication.

Would be useful if I used keychain and not bitwarden I suppose :)

Yeah Keychain with 2FA code autofill is a game changer. I’ll never use another password app.

Yeah its top banana. To get into one of my crypto exchanges you need a username and password. Then Apple authenticate, which is only accessible using Face ID… and it all happens in seconds. That’s a tough nut to crack. Love it.

It's funny but this is the first build that I'm actually seeing small issues with. Nothing major, things like this morning I couldn't drag a springboard icon to rearrange the home screen app layout.

I can live with little things like that but it will be nice to have them fixed.

My iPhone is doomed. The struggle is real 😑

I can't Swipe up to go back to the home page. The keyboard doesn't work. I can't exit. I can't do anything. My fingers were struggling. Malfunctioned!

For some reason my alarm no longer only goes off on my watch when sleep focus is on - it’s currently going off on both the watch and iPhone. Anyone else encountered this?!

I’ve had that happen once in awhile, where nothing seems to work, also sometimes my apps will switch back and forth by themselves rapidly. It’s very strange.

We will get through this..

Hopefully 🫠

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
