Alarm lock screen widget still doesn't update for sleep schedule alarms.

My launch day 14P battery health is at 100%. I charge it every night before bed until I wake up in the morning using the MagSafe charger.

Has anyone noticed their iPhone battery percentage taking a hit? Mine is still at 100% Please check. Thank you!

My 14PM is at 97%. I noticed it a few weeks ago. I’m surprised by it because my iPhone 13 Pro and most of my other iPhones have seemed to stay at 100% for close to a year after launch. I use optimized battery charging, clean energy charging, and a slower wireless charger which should generate less heat than a MagSafe branded one. Also, the 14PM has a larger battery capacity than past iPhones I’ve had which should mean I should have less charging cycles compared to smaller batteries, so I don’t really understand why my capacity is down 3% already. I don’t expose my phone to extreme temperature really either. The only thing I can think of is that I mostly used a 5W wired charger for my old iPhones, and this is my first one consistently using a wireless charger every night which could generate more heat and is less efficient compared to wired.

My 13PM is at 96% (bought around launch) and was 100% till 16. I don't use any optimized, clean, or slow. I have predominately used wireless charging and a 30W stand for last 6 months.
Wondering if the battery quality with the 14 has changed.

HTI is not stuttering on my 14PM on beta 4.
I am pretty sure you just don't perceive it. Look at the ball closely and see how smooth it is when you don't touch the screen and how it stutters the moment you touch the screen. It has been there since iOS 16, affecting all ProMotion devices, only most people don't notice it.

I recently saw a report that battery manufacturers use the wrong type of material in the lining of the battery that causes a slow drain and wears down the battery health quicker. Almost all products are affected as there are only a few big manufacturers.

Just got some notifications with square corners. Glad that feature has stuck around.
It’s bewildering considering the fact that a billion people have noticed this bug. And even more important, within Apple from the interns to the CEO. Which means without a doubt they are aware of it but no one within the company has felt the glaring obvious bug is priority enough to fix. Even though a billion people see it multiple times a day for the last 6 months. There’s no other explanation but they feel it doesn’t harm their brand.

Well I mean, how was your lunch today? 😆😂

First one was great; looking forward to the second!

OR… what if they just can’t figure out where it’s coming from?

Battery health at 100%. Eat it sub-hundreders!

If most people don’t notice it, is it really a problem? I’m not being facetious here: You can only do so much to make things work for 100% of the user base.

I don’t even know what this issue is. Nor do I really care.

My 14PM battery health was still at 100% since launch day, until earlier this month… at which point it went down to 99%… then 98%… 97%… now I’m down to 96% !!

I’m not sure what accounts for the sudden and severe decrease in battery health in just a matter of weeks. For the record I have not installed any of these betas so it is not related to 16.4 in any way. My usage or charging habits haven’t really changed either.

This build is buttery. Really impressed. Still waiting for a squared notification since every other release has had them. I do agree that it’s beyond understanding how it hasn’t gotten fixed. For such front-facing bugs I always imagine their leadership seeing this stuff and wondering how they react. Another user suggested that they just can’t fix it, but that seems pretty unbelievable. I mean, If they can’t fix it after 6 months perhaps they should not be working for Apple. I suspect it’s likely more of a priority issue. Though, again, why ignore such a common ui glitch that undoubtedly invites criticism of the quality of the product? 🤷‍♂️ Either way, this is the best my 14 pro has functioned since I got it at launch.
