The erratic behaviour of continuous spinning circle against iCloud Drive in Files app persists.

I've never heard of that. What do you mean?

If I select or highlight an address on a web page, select the Action Menu and select Google Maps, instead of opening in Maps as a location it thinks you are trying to do a public post or it will sometimes ask you to pick a place.

I just did a quick one on my iPad - see attached. This time it was pick a place.
Doesn’t take you to the address selected.
