Thanks for the tip, Mr. 🍐!

@Pearsey how did you switch to a "free" developer account? And what options did you lose?

Hope this helps:

I meant to post this days ago but I think I forgot. Is this screen that pops up after you made an Apple Card payment new?

The release notes are so light. Could be called 16.4.2.

I hope they're hard at work on iOS 17 to fix the thousands of bugs in iOS lately.
Don’t see all these complains will go away with iOS 17, I guess it will be the opposite.

I can only imagine what was there before the period!
That’s what the cycle tracking is for. ;)

Anyway, on a more serious note I’d like to briefly note here some unusual phenomena regarding cellular performance today on my walk. On 13 mini, after playing around with and toggling between LTE, 5G, and back to LTE, the data transmission rate basically died off and I ended up having to restart. There was one brief moment thereafter in which the signal seemed to die again, but it came back shortly thereafter—I can’t recall whether I toggled airplane mode. Perhaps something locally circumstantial, perhaps something with the tweaked modem firmware. In either case hopefully nobody else encounters such a thing.

Also, again maybe it’s my ISP/configuration but wifi calling is not seeming to want to establish a proper connection…signal just reads as plain old wifi :/

Not sure how long this has been happening…

Play a video that was recorded as slo-mo… it will play at normal speed for the entire clip. But if you enter EDIT mode and then play the same clip, it slows down properly and speeds back up at the end.

Anyone else?

14 Pro Max

Update: same video clips play correctly on iPadOS 16.5 b2 and then also after upgrading it to beta 3 so for me it appears isolated to iOS though I am not sure if it was happening on previous builds.

This beta is running like hot garbage for me so far. Hopefully it settles/a reflash of the ipsw via PC fixes it.

Phone is almost totally unresponsive and is hotter than the devil’s D.
Did a reinstall via ipsw on PC and it’s running like a dream. I don’t know why my phone hates OTA updates so much, glad it’s back to normal now though.

Beta feels good.

How are Notifications to the AW? Most Notifications have stopped on my AWU.
My AW Ultra is not on beta.

Still seeing delayed Notifications from Exchange account in Mail. Up to an hour late. Had this in beta 2.

Still seeing the URL fail when switching from Norm to Private in Safari. Had this in beta 2.
I’m having delayed notifications on my watch, too. Restarting my watch fixes it for a while.

It works wonders.

My go to general fix if hard restarts don’t do the trick and it’s not app specific. Even there I offload and reinstall and get great results.

So this morning, after I updated all my homepods and various devices (too many and update days are fraught), my matter accessories aren’t responding. They work in their respective apps, but Home app can’t control them any more. Anyone else seeing this?

Of course not, because bugs are relative, especially on iOS devices, where there’s over 2 billion of them.
Apple could say “we’ve fixed over 2000 bugs in the latest update” and someone will complain that when they press the volume up button followed by the volume down button, followed by flipping the mute switch on the lock screen the animation doesn’t display correctly or some nonsense like that that affects one in every 700,000,000 people, then use this super limited knowledge to talk about how iOS is going down the tubes ever since Jobs passed.

I too am having some notification issues on my AWU. Especially from Messsages. I thought I was going crazy that I was not feeling my texts come in, but apparently the watch is not getting them.

Did you update your AWU to the 9.5 beta as well? My phone is on 16.5 beta 3 and my AW7 is on 9.4 and I do not have any delayed notifications or notifications not showing on my AW7.
