With the news of the USB/lightning adapter being busted, buggy video playback, and no new features of note… I wouldn’t update, but that’s just me.
What ? Can you explain ?With the news of the USB/lightning adapter being busted, buggy video playback, and no new features of note… I wouldn’t update, but that’s just me.

Well, seems like you forgot about iOS 13, and iOS 7…This has shaped up to be one of the worst iOS updates of all time IMO, icing on the cake for the entire iOS 16 experience.
For me it was iOS 11 as the absolute worst, then 13 just about as bad. 7 was actually really good for me. 16 has been the least problematic for me in quite a while. but I do have newer devices - 14PM and M2 iPad Pro. Battery life has been outstanding throughout but I’ve never had the battery issues that I read about here anyway.Well, seems like you forgot about iOS 13, and iOS 7…
On App Store,ss anyone getting the red icon when updates are available?
I get absolutely no updates u less I pull down to get them.
Right, I'm not going to check and see how long (if at all) before I get a notification badge 😂Same unless I don't check for a couple or three days and then it will eventually show a badge
Square notifications???Lol—I’m still getting the squared notifications randomlyQuality control is fantastic.
I didn't understand eitherD'accord, je ne vais pas vérifier et voir combien de temps (le cas échéant) avant de recevoir un badge de notification 😂
Notifications carrées ???

I haven’t seen anything to suggest that Apple staggers the release of iOS updates up to this point. While it’s possible I missed something or this is a new policy, it seems more probable to me that this is just their software not functioning as it’s intended to. At the very least, even if this is intentional by design, stating that my phone is up to date or running the latest software is patently false, when there have been at least 3 public iOS releases since my previous update.
Slo Mo videos won't playback in Slo Mo in the photos app. The workaround for now is to go into edit mode and press play from there, where you can see the Slo Mo working again.
Thanks for checking. I checked more videos and found I do have a few that are playing back properly with slo mo but the majority of my slo mo videos aren't slowing where they should. Doesn't matter if they were 120fps or 240fps. Issue is the same on all my devices in the Photos app, Mac, iPad and iPhone.Playing fine for me on my 14PM![]()
This is interesting. In addition to what other users mentioned about the security update, 16.5 has been the most stable iOS 16 release with the longest battery life for me so far. Obviously, ymmv though.
