Here’s a “little thing” I found just now 😛

For the last couple of betas (and possibly earlier) videos longer than 2:1 extend into the notch, with no way to zoom to fit. You can zoom in to completely fill the screen but not out to see the entire video. iPhone 12 Pro.

If it's true, I hope this will be optional. I don't want my screen just faded down, I want it pitch black with just the widgets or whatever lightened up.
It's optional on Apple Watches but I'm sure it's going to be the same exact format. I would assume you can easily turn it off to save on battery life.

Always On display is optional. But I'm not talking about that. I want AOD enabled but without the dimmed wallpaper thing. The Apple Watch doesn't let you choose. It's either on or off.

Since I am a commercial drone pilot, one thing I definitely would like to see is alerts for possible severe weather in the immediate vicinity of where I am, not warnings for counties 30 miles away. That way I would know if I have enough time to complete the flight mission or have enough time to COMFORTABLY abort the flight, and not have to rush because I see rain/storms approaching unexpectedly.

Same. I had severe thunderstorm warnings 3 time last week and only once did even barely rain. At some point people will stop taking it seriously if the app is crying wolf all the time. I’d like to see an overlay on a map the shows the likelihood of the event to provide some context.

Yep, that is very true. Got woke up by a tornado warning in chicago and the storm was south of me and was moving further south.

How exactly does the duplicates thing work in Photos? Like what does the "merge" button (or whatever it is called in english) actually do? and what happens when you have both versions in different albums, will the photo disappear from album B or will it be replaced by the one and only version? lets say I have two versions of a photo in my camera roll by mistake and I sort version A into Album A and version B (same photo) into Album B, if I merge both versions (to remove the duplicate) will it remove the photo from Album A or B since it is technically no longer available? I would hope it just replaces it

Severe weather alerts (watches, warnings) are something the National Weather Service handles (in the US) and not Apple. And I’m pretty sure Apple will not attempt to issue their own version of these. Think of the liability if they are wrong. So you will keep seeing the the NWS (Environment Canada, UKMet, etc) version of these warnings.

I'm about 5 miles south of where that Tornado warning originated (near RT59 & 95th St) and we heard the sirens but saw no warnings on our phones. I had seen a few posts on The Patch for Plainfield & Bolingbrook that there was an issue or something with the Warning System? Not necessarily something our phones did wrong, but that something else wasn't done right? I just tried finding it again and Twitter just sucks to search on.
