Still happening with me on 16.2. When I first installed it, there was no stutter for about 2-3 days. Then the stutter came back. This is ridiculous.
Yep, this is typical. From now until the next update, a reboot will give you about 10-15 hours of smooth animations.
 
I’ve not had the stutter since installing iOS 16.3 on my 14 PM the day it was released. Was driving me crazy on iOS 16.2.

To clarify, I still have the touch-input stutter in games, e.g. Alto's Odyssey. Game runs smoothly, and skips a frame any time you touch the screen.
 
Still stuttering every few minutes. Looking forward to November then the new iPhones are released and then it was a lost year concerning the iPhone and the **** has ended then …
